Skip Acts function for the second and subsequent characters in the league
" You're affirmations say otherwise! No, they don't show in poe ninja! I was talking in general, it's not my fault that you felt my words! Deep down, you know you are toxic. Haha. Yeah, skipping the campaign and going straight for maps sounds so fun, NOT!

I want more difficult longer campaign , i love the campaign, but only for the first time at leageu start
Than, I want to have an alternative way, no faster leveling nor free stff but alternative way. Esp that we saw yesterday 0.5 video, with implementing endgame stff with quest tracking system, GGG showed that they can do amazing job for this, also interlude itself a system. Lets say we have act 1-6 > endgame (First character) Second chracter> option 1 play campaign option 2 play interlude( or a new system like that, there was a great post about it on previos pages) option 3 start from endgame lvl 1 character without any kind of extra benefits with level scaling if you chose option 2 or 3 you will miss all campaign bonuses like +20 healt or resistances etc. if you want them, you go get them from their places (whcih will save GGG to add these bonuses in somewhere else and save time) this must not be difficult nor hurt anything what i suggest here is not a flawless solution, there are many flaws as i write it i see it, but you got my point, and its not my job to find a perfect solution for it, its just and idea and what we want as core : alternative for campaign for subsequent characters Last edited by arkanie#2558 on May 8, 2026, 4:43:49 AM

As this has been a requested feature since, at least, the 0.92 closed beta I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you literally do not have the juice to convince them to do anything like that.

In my humble opinion the campgain is fine on 2nd/3rd chars with lvling gear. But it can definitely use a QOL improvment to make it more streamlined. I saw they are adding indicators and stuff in different acts but that's not enough. I think the best middle ground is to have the campgain bonuses be ACCOUNT WIDE PER LEAGUE that would significantly cut down on the campgain time. It is a good middle ground that GGG can relatively easily implement. Until they figure out a more permanent solution.

Campaign needs 90% of bloat removed. It should feel like Dark Souls in the sense that if you know what you are doing you can skip half the game in just a few hours. No skip button needed, just remove the mandatory chores (like searching for perma upgrade locations) and walking simulator aspects of the game (like the huge maps in act3). The only bottleneck during campaign should be not being able to defeat the bosses.
New player -> spends 30 hours in campaign Experienced player with skill -> fast campaign progression for 1st char Experienced player with knowledge -> fast campaign progression for 2nd char (leveling gear) |

" not bad solution imo |

Just give me an option to re-do the campaign or an option that allows me to visit any biome (Act) I want, in any order, and slay monsters / engage dynamic events each time I start a new character (resets after each league).
It doesn't seem to be a feature of a "Next Gen ARPG": Just QOL improvement on current ARPGs. Maybe I just want to level entirely in the jungle (Lord knows why...) but at that time in my life...it's my favorite biome. ![]() Last edited by 600lbpanther#3839 on May 8, 2026, 10:15:48 AM

I think the signposting should make campaign reruns much quicker for people with the mind to get to endgame quickly.
I don't support letting ppl skip campaign. It's a nice shared experience for everyone to race through together. |

" slogging through the campaign for the 3rd or 4th time while 5 months into a 4 month league cycle sounds about as fun as dragging your balls across shattered glass and battery acid. imagine how fun it'll be when we are 5 years into the game. yay. :D
