Deadlock Detected

Game won't load after downloading Mirage. After about 10 minutes I get a "deadlock Detected" message, and the game closes.

Same here, deadlock detected. I can't even get into login screen.

Same for me, cant get anywhere :(

I'm playing on the Legion Go S 32gb Steam OS version. I've tried multiple Proton versions as well

same here, I updated the graphics card drivers, but nothing changed

I get Deadlock detected often in Towns, got it in Act 6 while in Slave Pens too.
I play on PoE Launcher.

Having the same problem. Couldn't open the game once since downloading the new content :(

Same here, it locks up 5-10 times an hour even. I looked up fixes like tweaking virtual memory and updating my graphics drivers, but nothing changed. Barely made it to Act 2 'cause of this :(

I had the same problem after downloading the update, game wouldnt launch.
But after Verifying file integrity on Steam, it now loads normally.

AMD CPU may have this more often.

Old (!) advices too "deadlock" at net says things like
- clear cashes
- update graphic drivers
- verify PoE files

and what allowed me to start PoE (in standard) at 5th? try:

Don't hit "ok" at tiny deadlock window, wait until PoE start window appears.
Next start of PoE should work.

That didn't worked for me, I still have deadlock popup.

But it worked:

Inoring that Popup (move it to sceen edge) and just play.
I did not play just made some stash (maps!) and inventory reorg in ho and towns.
