0.4.0c Hotfix 13

Well done GGG, well manage !!

It take ages to setup the temple and now you are doing that?
I lost half my progress due to the lack of info on the Juatalotli's Medallion after spending half a day just to understand how the mecanic actualy works and now you are 'swapping' rooms ??
Player rentetion will speak for it self.

League was :

1- league is not fun / no reward
2- league is broken but you have to bash 500-750 map, countless temples.
Beeing piss but what ever i have no life, lets try.
3- Swapping rooms, changing Juatalotli's Medallion
4- Log the fuck out.

I was farming Abyss for Light and it got nerfed. With inflation already out of control, I invested a huge amount of time building a Temple—only for that to be nerfed as well. Meanwhile, players who already finished their Temples continue farming without disruption. This constant cycle of balance changes invalidates player effort, destroys any sense of planning, and ultimately wastes my time.

This sucks...
we`re back to ignoring league mechanics. based.
They’ve already gained hundreds of thousands Div yet I haven’t build my temple yet. If you want to change like this, well I think I’ll just quit this season, I won’t touch this league anymore, I hated this. GGG don’t know what you have designed. You have no idea how to fix the influence.I hate you GGG.

This hotfix was spectacularly tone-deaf. In a single, unexplained move, GGG gutted the only reason to keep engaging with the league mechanic - Measured End Game Progression (not loot). For the first time in a long while, the community had a real sense of endgame momentum—something actually worth grinding toward. And instead of tuning it, you obliterated it mid-season.

Yes, the loot scaling was high. Everyone knew that. But there’s a universe of difference between balancing and outright deleting the core structure of temples halfway through the league. That’s not balance—that’s bait-and-switch. You proudly claim you don’t nerf things mid-league, then immediately hide behind the tired excuse of “it was a bug” or “unintended behavior” when it’s convenient. That line has completely lost credibility.

What’s worse is the pattern this exposes: the community repeatedly discovers how to push your systems further and more creatively than your own developers ever anticipated—and instead of embracing that, you punish it. If your players understand the limits of your game better than the people building it, that’s not a player problem. That’s a development problem.

This change didn’t just kill a mechanic—it killed motivation. It sent a loud, clear message that time invested means nothing and anything fun is temporary until it’s deemed “too rewarding.” After 1,500+ hours, I’ve hit my limit. This wasn’t a misstep; it was a betrayal of player trust.

Do better, GGG. Because right now, I’m done.

That’s very well said — it explains the entire structure of GGG from the inside

GGG, you should be ashamed of yourselves. All the time i have spent down in the drain for nothing. A part of my life just gone for nothing but rage and regret.

you were an absolute idiot to invest so heavily into a broken system!! im overjoyed they did this to all you absolute morons!!
"I don't agree with the decision to make building Temples that much harder. Nerfing the currency drops and the room's mods having diminishing returns would have been enough in my opinion. Temples were actually turning out to be an engaging end game mechanic. It was aspirational content that you could do once you've reached maps that took a good chunk of time and planning and looked oddly addicting.

Now with this patch it seemed like it took the fun out of the League for both casuals and intermediate players who were slowly trying to build Temples. They are basically locked out of building them. Then the top Temple creators just keep getting more currency with their already fleshed out Temples and sustain.

This isn't helping Casuals, this kills many intermediate/hard-casual players, and the top .01% keeps printing currency with their 'finished' Temples. At the very least, please consider reverting the Medallion change so that players who've invested 30-50 hours building their Temples, that they can still play this League mechanic."

This game was good when Chris was still a leader, now that he and senior devs left (probably because of poe2), its all downhill

Yeah, Chris was one who knows how this game works.
Thank you for adressing this nonsense
