Jonathon needs to stop designing classes. - Druid Feedback

this is just bad game design.

LOL The issues you described thus far most definitely are skill issues. For reference, I am nearing the end of act 1 playing as a druid shapeshifter and have yet to die once. You just have to be patient and figure out how to play the new class. The fact that the different classes in POE 2 require different playstyles is actually excellent game design, in my opinion. Stop whining because you don't have the patience to figure out how to play the game.

You know you don't have to use the bear, right? Try the wolf bruh.

This must be a troll? Druid is amazing. I'm halfway through act 2 and having a blast. Been crushing since level 10.

Love the speed and mobility of wolf, not even bothering with caster wyvern or bear. Once the op combos come out from the theorycrafters i can only imagine it getting more crazy.
I think you guys just might be bad at the game. Cleared chapter 1 with zero issues with the Druid. Guess now you know what it's like to not play Deadeye huh...

I agree with the OP — the Druid feels bad to play, and this is a bigger design issue that needs to be called out. A lot of it comes back to Jonathan’s design philosophy bleeding into places where it doesn’t fit.

First, the class just feels slow, and slow in a way that isn’t fun. Even the “fast” wolf form doesn’t feel fast. Strung together animations that are too long for the damage they do and low movement speed. That pacing might work for some builds, but it completely misses the mark here.

Second, it’s not thematic. A werewolf should feel agile, fluid, and aggressive. Instead, the fantasy falls apart because the gameplay doesn’t match the identity. Nothing about the wolf form feels like you’re darting around or overwhelming enemies.

Third, the forced form-swapping playstyle is tedious. Constantly morphing just to throw a spell, then morphing again to attack, then morphing again to do something else feels like busywork. That kind of complexity should be an option for players who enjoy it, not a requirement baked into the class.

Not everyone wants a Souls-like, methodical experience for every class. Different playstyles should exist, and right now it feels like everything is being forced into the same slow, deliberate mold — even when it clearly doesn’t fit.

Okay you have to actually be trolling right? God I hope so. Are you seriously manually swapping weapons?

Just imagine calling simple mechanics a souls like difficulty. He can literally jus attack and slam if he wants, its a 2 button class if you dont want to overcomplicate it. But yeah, you can add some stuff in the middle in act 1, until you get strong enough. But this aint poe1 ,ppl need to understand thy wont breeze campaign spamming frostblink and 1 skill while they hear backstreet boys. They def buffed campaign difficulty imo, but it was necessary, 0.3 was too easy

How it is possible for people to complain about druid when it is the most OP class since POE2 launch.
The campaign is so trivial it is even not fun and i am worried for mid - end game when it was already not so much challenging in previous leagues.

People needs a bouc emissaire and Jonhathan is the one to hate, funniest and silliest is to speak about Chris when we saw the same message about him before (ruthless blabla)

My god GGG fortunately for you has no time to monitor the forum(or maybe they are just too nice), i would ban you all in order to have a peaceful forum.
Druid is sick as f
