Jonathon needs to stop designing classes. - Druid Feedback

My experience with the druid so far is so poor i have felt the need to make my first forum post in forever possible first ever.


Right from the gate the swing time takes a year and half so you have to eat every singe ranged missle attack from enemies. then you die

you decide im going to be a good play and dodge the attacks you then proceed to swing 1 time every 10 -15 seconds when you have an opening. absolute ass gameplay.


Each new update for POE2 i believe the hype. maybe it wont be so bad this time. and each time im throughly disappointed in how poorly the game plays. I dont want to play dark souls. I dont want to play titan souls.

I dont want to play whatever masochistic abomination Jonathon wants to play. He should have made a different game and not POE2 if thats what he wanted.

Druid so far feels like mega ass. i died 6 times before i even got to the grim tangle. im in the cemetary of eternals and go up to a mob attack it once for half hp then again for 30% and 1 final time for a killing blow.

in this time enemies have amassed.

so i volcano and spend my rage on a slam and am now at 30% myself. the emies encricling me at half. I run away and hit my flask. it slowly regens me.

i get hit by an arrow and have lost more hp than my flask has regenned in the last 5 seconds.




whatever hype whatever you thought about this druid. stop making melee. stop letting jonathon have a say please.

i might just be done with POE2 .im not going to slog through this campaign to get to where the game begins death running from pack to pack. oh wait i cant do that either, they all respawn.


none of my deaths, non of my issues thusfar have been skill issues. the game play is just ass.

I can dodge every boss mechanic in the game and zdps my way to victory.

this is just bad game design.

Just did the act 1 boss and... yeah. Weakest I've felt on a character since launch of early access. The LOOK of druid is cool. The IDEA of druid is cool. But this is so incredibly underwhelming and clunky that I'm just flat out done until they release some updates.

They gave Druid nothing interesting anyway. Just play better melee classes to shapeshift.

You guys all kinda bad at the game. I am now playing druid and im afraid he is going to get nerfed. Because i feel like im playing a twink character. I almost forgot about gear and im just stomping the bosses.

I'm confused by you bots who comment druid is bad. Do you guys like not know how to use passive points or something? I'm steamrolling through the campaign on druid. Just use your head. Jonathan did a great job. [Removed by Support]

I hope they don't buff druid soon, because I want to experience him in the current state or better in a more challenging state.

Regarding OP:
In early levels you can either play caster druid with the totem + volcano and the vines or bear druid with basic bear attack + bear slam + volcano + totem.
Since they split the skills between 4 playstyles, the other playstyles don't have enough skills yet.
6 times dying sounds completly fine to me. In this game one is constantly pressing healing potions early game, but the bear is strong enough to just go into enemies and kill them - no need to wait for an opening. Just basic bear attack -> basic bear attack -> bear slam is enough to clear everything. Volcano + totem can clear groups at a distance.
Attack speed will feel faster once you get some attack speed.

I'm doing fine , haven't died yet and i feel pretty good so far with the update. Use heal and combo then run heal if needed, repeat. No need attacking developers because you can't be a little patient in your gameplay

Typical nooby who can't zoom zoom from level 1 and has no idea what skills to use or how to dodge.

I have no idea how druid works, no idea where I want to take him and I've done the big bad wolf on the second try with no problems.

So: git gud.

druide is broken, too OP. maybe she can nerfed.

learn the game.
