Jonathon needs to stop designing classes. - Druid Feedback

I played chronomancer of all things at 0.1 launch and got to maps just fine. I have no idea what you are actually doing to not be able to get to the grim tangle successfully but your feedback isn't really feedback, it is a tantrum. Should consider taking a break, or not making POE2 so overwhelmingly important in your mind that you get these kind of feelings when you try to play it. Unhinged.

Idk, playing druid I feel like I'm doing the act and boss as I was rerolling a character with the full started pack op unique budjet and just stomping everything.

The combo between (Volcano + Slam), (bear fissure + wyvern spam) Honestly everything soo far feel soo good.

Just find a decent okay ish weapon (Because if your use to spell you need to understand that attack skill scale with your weapon if you keep your white trash talisman, it won't do a damn peanut of damage.

First time I do the graveyard boss deathless, survive his slam hit, and do enough damage to kill him in like 30-40ish second on my first guy whitout being overlevel or anything.

Druid soo far feel overpower but what important is how it gona be in map. Is it just a strong starting class or will it fall off.
Sound like a skill issue, my bear druid destroys pretty much everything. The only thing I struggle with are mobs that freeze/slow you.
I am on ps5 pro and I have to say I feel druid is AMAZING... I haven't had actual fun in poe 2 till now! With that said, I am NOT saying it is without issues. some of the attacks seem super slow, but once you stack some attack speed it becomes fine. I am playing as a pure wolf build, creating it myself. I just got to the boss at the end of act one and that's where I hit my first wall. It is NOT because of the druid... my issue it lack of decent gear or currency to make/buy gear.

my point in the post is simply before you bash the druid, look at your gear and your passive tree... for some reason this game really like gear... even a few levels difference is huge!

My other issues is a bug ive been running into, the game keeps pausing and unpausing itself.

Good luck to you all and I hope you start to enjoy it... if not remember this, there is a power button to turn it off, or simply log out and play something different.
Sorry man, I honestly don’t agree at all.
I’ve never felt this powerful at the start of a league. I literally shredded Geonor in like 30 seconds per phase.

It genuinely feels like I’m leveling a second character — fully juiced, tons of uniques, zero struggle.

Nah druid is top tier

I agree with the OP — the Druid feels bad to play, and this is a bigger design issue that needs to be called out. A lot of it comes back to Jonathan’s design philosophy bleeding into places where it doesn’t fit.

First, the class just feels slow, and slow in a way that isn’t fun. Even the “fast” wolf form doesn’t feel fast. Strung together animations that are too long for the damage they do and low movement speed. That pacing might work for some builds, but it completely misses the mark here.

Second, it’s not thematic. A werewolf should feel agile, fluid, and aggressive. Instead, the fantasy falls apart because the gameplay doesn’t match the identity. Nothing about the wolf form feels like you’re darting around or overwhelming enemies.

Third, the forced form-swapping playstyle is tedious. Constantly morphing just to throw a spell, then morphing again to attack, then morphing again to do something else feels like busywork. That kind of complexity should be an option for players who enjoy it, not a requirement baked into the class.

Not everyone wants a Souls-like, methodical experience for every class. Different playstyles should exist, and right now it feels like everything is being forced into the same slow, deliberate mold — even when it clearly doesn’t fit.

Okay you have to actually be trolling right? God I hope so. Are you seriously manually swapping weapons?
Class feels great to me and I've seen people almost one shot both A1 and A2 bosses on Wolf. I'm playing Oracle and just got my 2nd ascendancy. I think he did a great job and hope he designs more in the future, as this is the best the game has felt yet and glad it's headed in a good direction.
I'm in the same boat. The druid just feels off. I've died sooooo many times in the first area it's crazy. The last time the game was like this was when it first released. Did they make the game harder or just the druid is Ass??
