0.5 Passive tree findings:
The new Recoup speed wheel provides 82% recoup speed for a 7 point investment. 25% more speed remains baked into Pliable Flesh. This brings us to 3.85s recoup speed compared to the old 3.2s. The 12% recoup speed from the boots socketable is now also notably worse compared to before, assuming it hasn't been buffed, but I wouldn't count on that. There is 28% more recoup speed (which would be a total of 3.4s) in the heart-shaped wheel on Druid's side of the wheel, but that's really quite far *and* they removed the only worthwhile thing to grab along the way since the energy shield/max mana wheel is now gone. This means that going left is even worse than before, especially since Stormcharged is dead in the water. On the bright side, there is a 10% slower expiry rate on buffs in the big recoup speed wheel, which means it can be stacked up to a pretty ridiculous 40% now. For instance it might be worth looking at archons now? With all the archon durarion nodes and 40% slower expiry rate, we're looking at a 38 second archon. If we annoint/megalomaniac an additional 10% from the ranger side of the tree, that climbs up to 45,6(!) seconds.Maybe something to consider for minion/chaos builds, too, depending on what Archon of Undeath ends up actually doing. Edit: It also looks like they nerfed/changed some of the nodes in the diamond shaped crit section on the monk side of the tree. Yeah, stormcharged being murdered is so strange. broke the link, and the new version is so weak. I don't get it. I think Hearttissue/left ventricale is an easy grab. theres a jewelsocket there too. mind erasure, aspiring genius, reverb/repulsion. all good still. it is harder on a crit build yes. Calibration loss is rough yeah. Chrono small travel points: Phased from/footprints are still both 10% buff duration. Quicksand hourglass was 4% cast speed, 6% inc aoe. now, 4% action speed, 6% inc aoe. unsurprisingly. Inevitable agony was 10% faster curse activation, but is now 8% inc aoe. Which.. eh. pretty weak. inc Aoe is everywhere. and small travel nodes are 5 or 6%. when quicksand hourglass is 4% skill speed and 6% aoe, how can you justify this? this should be 10 or 12% at least imho. The Rapid river was 4% life recoup. now, Now and again is 6% cast speed. same problem. when quicksand hourglass is 4% skill speed and 6% aoe, how can you justify this? Apex unchanged. And timesnap/time freeze are still 6% cdr nodes as well. |
