Patch 0.4.0: Deadeye Tailwind No Longer Granting Movement Speed

It is a good indicator of what is work and should be inspiring for other skills design.

I have a hard time understanding why is the problematic of that ?

I have even more trouble understanding those who advocate build diversity while calling for nerfs and subtractions. Because in the end, if it's a matter of nerfing what works, we'll end up with a base of flat and uninteresting classes for V1.0. The same base with different skins, great!

By the way,
One minute, I just saw a lich exceeding the "allowed" speed. Slow down, Lady of Darkness, you're going to get nerfed.

The next time I feel like boning a skeleton, "I'll summon one," she said to me.

Yes, it may be time to summon and advocate that velocity in the game should be a an available factor for all classes. The slow pacing remains a huge issue in this game. Even more with some debuff as Temporal chains.

So NO nerf, only buff and improvements for others classes

Yes what you are saying is the correct choice but GGG and the souls like crowd don't agree.

GGG says buff dead eye more and nerf others.

The souls like crowd say nerf everything to the point of level 1 naked rolling slam only allowed. Each pack of white mobs should take a 5 button combo.
Tell me something? WHY obvious things can't be seen by GGG????

But of course it needs no answer! Profits after 2000 ruined everything.
The biggest offender isn't Tailwind, it's the Rhoa Mount. It almost completely negate the biggest slow factor for clearing - the movement penalty on skill use. But it's only usable with Bow Skills (& Spear Throw). It even double down with great damage scaling modifier. And Deadeye is the "obvious" choice for a Bow build.

I mean if it could be used with any skills and boost any type of damage, I can confidently said that EVERY build would use the Rhoa Mount.

That's why some players asking for fighting pets. For example war Horse for Mercenary. Drake from Bloodmage...etc

Everyone searching for ways speeding the character but unfortunately possibilities are not equal.
Absolute -1 from my side on this
The game is already so slow movement-wise and instead of urging other builds to also have good mobility, you want to slow it down for the one character that actually gets measly 10% MS?
Why do ya'll think people play Deadeye? It's because they don't want the crawl speed that is PoE2. Things like backtracking feel horrible and there are barely any (viable) sources of movement speed or mobility in the entire game. Sprint is awfully clunky and risky, even Temporalis Blink feels terrible since you get into sprint animation way too easily since 0.3.
The game's a whole slog and I feel like people are so jealous of anyone who doesn't get f*cked by GGG's game design decisions, so they want everyone else to suffer the same way.
I absolutely endorse better, low-entry mobility options for almost everyone.
nah instead make the faster u run the more dmg u take and the less hits u have aka accuracy goes down and add stamina bar. go full diablo2 on it
There can only be one Box, and that is the BOX from HELL.

At least someone admitted that GGG treats some of players differently....

+1 to post.
Since the game is still in early access, it might be good idea to do some testing on deadeye tailwind to see how many players will actually play deadeye when changes are made.

A few ideas come to my mind:

idea 1: give movement speed to tailwind, but for every +1% increase in movement speed, the char will get +2% reduced skill speed and +10% increased damage taken by the mobs.

idea 2: completely rework tailwind into something else not related to movement speed.

idea 3: tailwind gives increased movement speed but when the stacks end, the player is stunned for 5 seconds and this effect cannot be prevented by charms or unique items or nodes on the passive tree.

LOL

I don't want you to be my math teacher.

for EVERY 1% movespeed -> 2% reduced skill speed which already is double the downside of* the updside, and then on top +10% increased damage taken by monsters per 1% movespeed? lmao
I wanna see somebody enjoy that. Maybe quin69, to torture himself.
Poe 2 back again. New trade system not flawless but still good.
Need search save option for market panel.
