Patch 0.4.0: Deadeye Tailwind No Longer Granting Movement Speed
|
For the next Content Patch 0.4.0, I urge GGG to change Tailwind to no longer grant movement speed, and instead solely focus on skill speed and evasion rating.
The fact that Deadeye gets both movement speed and skill speed bundled in Tailwind is too potent. Movement speed is the most powerful stat for map efficiency, making Deadeye mandatory. This is the antithesis of build diversity. This change corrects the disproportionate speed of Deadeye. According to data by maxroll, Deadeye is OP and not even close. Deadeye is leaps and bounds ahead of any other class. Tailwind is the main culprit and is clearly overtuned. The facts are the facts. ![]() Source:https://maxroll.gg/poe2/meta/the-build-meta Last edited by CharlesJT#7681 on Oct 26, 2025, 11:52:28 AM Last bumped on Oct 29, 2025, 10:23:48 PM

How about you worry about GGG buffing whatever terrible skill you wish you could play with instead?

You can craft boots with 3 sockets, 100+ MS and 100% increased socket effect for even more MS but yeah 10% from Tailwind on top of that is insane problem and should be removed.

Dead Eye is almost a broken class that reaches 170% MS. Partying with Dead Eye is impossible becouse either you running behind this class or stay behind and loose everything in map. |

" Not only Dead Eye class reaching insane MS values. Generally put caps to MS around 60-80%. Last edited by Zourouswel#3170 on Oct 25, 2025, 5:15:51 AM

" And how many Deadeye specific abilities contribute to those 170% exactly? Last edited by Sakanabi#6664 on Oct 25, 2025, 9:14:30 AM
