...do you guys think that you'll be able to post new listings without paying money, or will it be like in PoE2 where the AH is buy-only if you didn't invest any real money to the game?

hmm? You would still need to buy the tabs, same with premium tabs if you want to list items fast on the trade site i guess. No need to change a running system.

They should give everyone a free premium tab to balance this out a little.
And no, I'm not looking for a free tab. I have more tabs than I could ever possibly use in a league. Thanks for all the fish!

Primary reason: having a monetary barrier to automating trade that is account bound creates a large amount of friction for botting. It is a lot more work for someone to create multiple accounts to use for it, if each one requires associating to a payment. It also allows GGG to more effectively ban botters, by referencing the payment form to find commonality. Secondary Reason: GGG deserves to get paid for all the work they put in these games. The game is free to pay. They have held true to the "no purchased power" ethos, stop complaining about the ability to purchase QoL. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" This is beyond QoL. This crosses the line easily into P2W in my mind. I don't mind them getting paid, but I don't think this meets the F2P threshold since we're talking about something that very much impacts the ability to play the game. Thanks for all the fish!

You can sell things through the trade website, or trade chat channels, without purchasing anything.
But yes, it is considered by many a requirement to play POE. I would not play past campaign without spending at least $25 USD on tabs. And that's kind of the point, again, GGG has to get paid. “Freedom is what we do with what is done to us.”

" I think it is a further slide down the unwanted path that premium tabs and non-remove only tabs created. If GGG were to reverse this and have and all tabs available, it would also fix another problem: Low balling. People putting up items they don't intend to sell to get others to lower their prices would no longer work as those items could be bought without any further interaction from the seller.
