That stacked deck change though!

Stacked decks were released to the game in 2016. Almost immediately, players recognized this extremely simple and foreseeable problem with them.....

Fast forward NINE FREAKING YEARS and GGG finally fixes it. They deserve zero credit, and frankly should explain WHY they delayed this for so long.

Please make the change that "Armour applies to Elemental damage taken at 10% effectiveness" as a baseline for all characters i think this would help a lot for lifebased/armour builds to compete with ES builds

You do realize this would be meaningless right? Even an armour stacker with 2 million armor would see very little impact of this on elemental damage, let alone anyone running around with less. Not only that but this isn't why ES builds are stronger than life/armor.....has nothing to do with elemental damage. Additionally, some of the highest armour builds are......ES builds.

nice jokes bro.

Lol...whats the point of this? It illustrates nothing. Value in standard gives you no insight or understanding. This largely receives its value because armour stacking is broken in standard thanks to the bugged resistance armor and other items allowing for absurd numbers.

On my armour stacker build with 2 million armor, no broken items...adding this amounts to an extra 20k max hit on elemental damage....of which I already have 175k max hit. Functionally meaningless.

On any other build with a far more "average" 50k armor....it amounts to nothing, exactly what I said.

It's min/max fodder that does next to nothing functionally except perhaps to the biggest possible hits in the game, and ONLY on a build with top-tier armour to begin with. It will do a LOT for small hits (given a huge armor pool), but not anything you should or would functionally need

At least the new management recognizes this, we got currency/items exchange and other things that were needed years ago now.
Wasting people times is never good idea, if the league/game is good and players have more time they will play longer, they will not come back, if you force them to play longer. This also goes for poe2 at the moment, with the extra hundreds clicks that are needed now for when you want to use delirium on maps for example.
I'm gonna be so mad if they don't implement a release all beasts in the managerie
My bingo guess - Breach 2 will be first "new"/reworked mechanic, which also will introduce separate atlas tree in Poe1 and this is the reason for breach to be missing in the "old" atlas tree in the teaser videos :D
Looking forward To all the QOL changes And Hopefully No hard nerfs other then ES builds :D

50k armour would provide 5k for ele reduction, which provide approximately 30-50% ele reduction to normal or magic, and 10-30% to rare or unique in normal maps.

But for extreme maps, it hardly provides any reduction, but still work at leat. Ele reduction won't be overwhelmed like trash phys reduction.

And the better solution is to directly give stable damage reduction according to the value of armour you have, and abandon the old awful armour formula which provides almost no reduction to high 1-hit damage, and doesn't work to tht "great" physical dot. And of course armour should apply to all damage type,or it can never provide a stable survive as ES, and keeps useless.
