Forced 6 mods feels terrible
To simply just say well because I don't die and can clearly do any 6 mod map means everyone can is just dense. everyone plays differently, shouldnt have to use this one exact build/playstyle just to be able to do 6 mod maps and endgame content... prior to this nerf to towers maps could have upwards of 9-12 tablets affecting them, now the max is 3... so ya this "Forced" map mods really doesn't feel good or cater to majority of playerbase

" Isn’t just one build it’s multiple And this isn’t helping your stance. You are admitting, 100% here even, that it is in fact. A build issue My stance from the start. Mash the clean

Players don't agree with my exact takes???? must be a build issue, Yep everyone else saying this exact same thing, Naw just a build issue, every player in global asking for help with campaign bosses? meh just a build issue, Wow so much of this community just clearly struggles with their build and theres no core/underlying issues to this game that need to be worked on, mehhh its just a build problem clearly, core supporters of this game literally getting driven away by a toxic community that thinks its all just a build issue, there are core problems to game that need to be addressed, its not all simply a "build issue"

" Yea pretty much And gameplay skill as well Many examples to point to for that on the forums, but campaign boss carry’s you are giving here I think suffice for that. Mash the clean

[Removed by Support] you don't agree with my take and keep nitpicking points while ignoring everything else, alot of the problems in game can be traced back to pathing on tree and gear equipped, but then theres also alot of other problems that have persisted since day one... I have nothing but time on my hands healing from a car accident, ive spent this time playing this game build after build finally levelled my first character past 90 finally started figuring out how to survive, there are some massive issues to endgame as an entirety and its just not fun, hence why people are mad 6 mods are "forced" because ya I dont have to run 3 tablets, but then im getting less loot and wasting more time? like say I was working a production line and was substantially slower then all my coworkers, why would my employer keep me employed? this is whats driving people AWAY FROM GAME, its not forced as in no one at GGG has a gun to our head saying you have to run these, but its literally like trying to win a race against usain bolt, you aint gonna win, ya you can keep running, it will get you to the end eventually, usain bolt made it there ages ago, oh and now already has 100 divine gear while you just got your first!

Reinforcing your points with complaints that you make yourself is not helping.
I think its better to ask: "Why can this person who is responding to me not having any trouble but I/others are?" And youll arrive at the answer(s) I have already given. I dont stream, play for hours upon hours, I dont have giga currency out characters, I play non-meta, etc. etc. etc. Just a normal player with a character that has 2 days of time in it and another with barely 4. And its week what.... 7 now? Just have to accept sometimes that there is room for improvement on the two things I mentioned. Mash the clean

" It's been 39 days, so 5.5 weeks and you've put 144 hours into the game. You can say you're not a sweat but playing 26 hours of video games a week is not something most people can do. Look - I'm absolutely positive you're a better player than me but you're assuming that everyone's goal is to be the best PoE2 player they can be and know the game inside and out but it's not. Most of us just want to have fun playing a video game in the precious few hours we can manage. |

" And you are what level doing tier 15 and tier 16 maps with 6 mods? How many total deaths per character do you have? |

" Eh... this is not strengthening the position of 6 mods though and it not being a personal issue. If you want to say now that its time commitment based, then you need to set realistic goals for the amount of time you invest into the game. You should not be rewarded as much as someone who doubles your time; or triples it etc... If you need to invest more time into the game in order to get yourself up to working with 6 mod maps; then I believe that system is working just fine. I think an average of 3.69 hours/day is on the low end and more around the healthy aspect of enjoying the game. We cant say for certain; but players who come to post on the forums are most likely not people playing 30 minutes a day a logging off. Probably the same play time as me, if not way more, for the most part. " uhhh... think the warrior is pretty low on deaths? Yea 93 and this: ![]() And the sorc is 95 and this: ![]() Not sure how much we factor in that time for the campaign/progression on each though. Wasnt doing 6 mod t15/16s the whole time obviously Mash the clean Last edited by Mashgesture#2912 on Oct 7, 2025, 5:32:43 PM

" Do me a favor and google, "what is the average deaths per character in path of exile 2" obviously you won't get an official answer. But you will get a ton of self reports of deaths on multiple reddit, game forum type accounts, etc. I think you will see your deaths are incredibly low. Even factoring in the accumulated game knowledge we all have now over someone playing 10 months ago. You are very good at the game. That's the point he is making. If I needed you to bench 315 lbs right now to save your life could you? To people that currently bench 450 lbs that doesn't seem like much, but for someone who can bench 275 lbs, still plenty strong, they are still likely dead unless that adrenaline hits real good. You may be able to be very good at the game with little effort, but you are very good at the game. You have less deaths than my 96 warrior by enough that it isn't the three levels between them making the difference. And I suspect I have less deaths than average. Balancing at what is a challenge to you is like saying it's average for people to bench 315 lbs. It isn't, even if you and all your friends can easily do it. Definitely OP can get better, but I do think the game after this patch made an aspect of the game harder at too steep of a curve. Even if that curve wasn't too steep for you.
