Forced 6 mods feels terrible

It doesn't help that every mod is the laziest boring "friction" design on the planet.

Why is it beyond them to add cool modifiers? Or ones that don't turn into a one shot game? Are you really incapable of designing NEW things?

It's supposed to be early access, try some NEW things ffs. We are so bored of POE 1 slop recycled.

They'll cave eventually and just change it back to 6 portals, they already put scarabs back in the game and deleted towers out of existence lmao

Because PoE 1 already has a good endgame that just works.

I hope this thought brings you some small comfort but I also hope you're prepared to deal with the very real possibility that the fact that they were willing to build PoE2 knowing that it would not resonate with the core PoE1 demographic means that it absolutely did not "just work." Like I played PoE1 for years and the endgame is the reason I quit and the promise of a different model in PoE2 is why I'm here now.

And, like, I know you guys really think you're the only ones here but there are a lot of people like me here too. They're not all as vocal as me (or you), but they're definitely playing the game and GGG sees them even if you don't.

Even if he doesn't,I want you to know it makes me happy and brings me extreme amounts of comfort.

Just for you friend :)
I'm not angry, i'm just completely baffled by how, or why every map mod is just pure cancer As Quin would say. Just absolute cancer. Monsters have 300% crit chance. Monsters have 250% chance to freeze you. Players have massively less life, and es regen. Just absolutely cancer on every map. You literally have no choice but to pick a broken build if you don't want to rip in half your maps if not all of them. If .4 doesn't fix this i'm done for good.

I can understand making your map harder on purpose for much higher rewards, but literally every Waystone that drops is pretty much insured to have something that is unplayable on it.

Why not just let us run any map with 3 tab slots? You're missing juice from not running a 6 mod anyway and higher level players arn't really constantley dying anyway to require multiple portals.

"non meta players"

Jokes aside, it's not the build, it's itemization.

The only thing that makes builds meta its the fact that they can scale for cheaper.

Slap the endgame OP jewels in any decently crafted build and you'll have a better experience. Problem is, they're over 100 div =P

Builds need to scale better and endgame items need to be a bit more unique and daring than just add multipliers everywhere

Not cheaper directly, but faster. Yes, that translates to cheaper earlygame, but their ceiling is so much higher.

Meta doesnt matter for 6 mod maps
Mash the clean
One thing I dont like about the new tablet system is that it feels like I have to mini-manage a bunch of tablets all the time. 10 charges feels like they run out very fast and now I have to search my inventory for 3 new compatible tablets.

I dont know what can be done but at the very least id like to be able to set up a "pipeline" of tablets so that when one runs out it autoslots the next tablet in line that I have chosen.

Its also a bit tedious to have to swap tablets in and out depending on the type of map Im running, if im doing regular maps i might run irradiated/breach/breach but if im doing a citadel i want to run waystone/waystone/waystone tablets and if I run jade isles i want boss rarity x3 tablets. Being able to have a couple of "loadouts" of tablets would alleviate this issue.
