0.3 Maps Vs. 0.3.1 Maps (Big 0.3.1 Problems)

I do not like the fog thing for many reasons, and one of them is that I need to use the map overlay, which I do not need on most non instilled maps. " Yeah, for sure. And I'm certain those "layouts" are no accident, the devs just like to make some areas that seem like you can pass through them, yet you can't. And that design choice (imho very common in PoE2 maps) combined with the fog and a lot of other obstructions like monsters and explosions, are the reasons I'm using map layout all the time. If you don't need to play with it, more power to you. |

I have hundreds of nodes just sitting there, couldn't bother running them before but now they are better.
It's silly, but it will self regulate. The big thing is everybody already knows it was massively nerfed. GGG only nerfs my dudes. Been playing almost 7 years now -- GGG only nerfs. |

" I knew it was coming but they said 2-3x. Obviously they said that because if they didn't everyone would be freaking out over specifically ritual strats and MF strats being nerfed mid league. But then they do it anyway, and they don't just nerf MFing/ Ritual they actually give MFers the god patch and make the new content bad to play. Forced 0.3 MFers/ Ritual players to run discarded layouts and everyone else to get 3x less of their effect. Just a massive error in the implementation. |

They are going to do whatever the fuck they want man. Years and years ago, they used to post "Manifesto's", which told us where the devs were headed, and their thoughts on OUR thoughts. Spoiler: They are all still there, and 90% of them read as follows. "We see you are unhappy. We like the changes. Get bent." Okay perhaps a bit more friendly than that, but essentially that's what they all boiled down to :) |

" Yeah but I mean, it's pretty important to point out just how bad quant is now for the affix being so rare with such a variance in the rolls. As well as less monsters being really obvious. Could be massive problems next league. Also important to point out why something that could've been good was bad. If they just gave us a little more. If there was 2 quantity of items tablets or modifiers, and if we had say the basic one goes 4-7, the other goes 8-12, suddenly there are ways to invest in content on a fresh layout that's not as bad and people who dont have layouts can path to corrupted zones, invest in content and get returns. People who aren't doing full party MFing on 0.3 towers can buy the old precursors with good rolls, path to somewhere good, and use the new precursors with even better rolls. If the new precursors overrode old tower precursor effects, or weren't usable on top of them, then being just 15-20% behind on quant compared to tower setups instead of 300% behind would've been fine. People in trade would've been able to engage in the gameplay loop they were actually trying to implement without this massive discrepancy. |
