I don't think I can do this every 3 to 4 months., the campaign is just too long.

kinda agree with this post +1

Problem is they want you to have fun in campaign not skip it like in the first game. They want to make sure campaign is as fun as end game mapping. They literally said, if people think campaing is too long or boring then that means they need to make campaign more fun than it is.

This will be a hardtask for them, it will be hard to balance both of them. As long as end game will be super duper efficient than campaign then people will want get done with campaign as quickly as possible.

I simply can't understand why people want to amass tons of currency asap while it only leads to inflation and insane cost of items. I see no point in this except for maybe flex.

I play SSF. You aare the one flexing, not me.

This is an ARPG. Not The witcher 3 or elden ring or skyrim, an ARPG.

I suggest GGG you need play 1 character for full campaign per league. After that, you can create others character with level at 65 (and the progress, passive point + reward from quest same 1st character, e.g if your 1st character get 22 passive points from quest, the new one get 22 too). I think this might solve the problem run over and over the campaign.

Why not level 100? and May be a GM shop? I am a working man with a kid, i have no time for those stupid boooring grinding currency, crafting items and running maps.
One of the reasons i dont wanna level up new char and i will not come to new league too. As there are plans for more acts too.

I ask you whats the point of playing a campaign you already played 15 times?

You can play different skills/ builds / characters, and there's league content in acts as well. And yes, it should be challenging then.
If its small time to play then you barely can have 15 times before it can bore you.

Generally speaking the endgame is not THAT different, and in some aspects even more repetitive than campaign. So whats the point of playing maps you already played 150 times?

You basically always need to make a new character if you want to play a different build, because to reskill you simply dont have enough gold. Or uncut gems. And even if you play another build. Most of the Campaign is still the same. No Trade, No craft, no testing out different things.

Endgame is very different. You have way more things you can do. And you are not stuck in a map for long.

agree, campaign is too long and is a slogfest

i personally play first 2-3 weeks of season, get my char where i want to get it and don't create an alt simply because im not playing that 20-40 hour campaign again (didn't time it, i don't know how long it took me).

i do think a compressed version of the campaign should be offered for those that wish to push into end game quickly - something like reduced map size where each zone is 25-40% smaller would probably feel very good? Personally, I hate campaigns in all games, just not a lore-andy but I get it for some it's "cool" - whatever that means :D

Again the respondents to this thread prove me right. Make a big campaign and people will want to skip it.

Sigh.

Maybe compress the campaign and more people will play.

I am almost out of this league right now and I haven't even gotten to endgame.
Well there is one way youd get through to the end game faster
Mash the clean

No idea what you are talking about

I have pretty much quit playing. I didn't play yesterday, I wont play tonight or tomorrow. I don't have any urge to play. I wont see endgame.
Yeah didn't play today and dont feel desire to do so. Think I am done this league. The idea of slogging through another 10,000,000 mobs to finish the act 4 boss and interludes just doesnt make me want to play
