XP Loss on death is completley unnecessary, the argument that dying has to have a consequence is complete rubbish, it does not.


I play totally differently when my lvl is at 0, i spend all my junk bricked 6 mods and i don't even try to survive. If i'm not afraid to lose xp, there is no tension, no stake, everything become inconsequent. At the moment i try to get my level, i'm focus, i plan my maps, i play my life.

But ye ofc "it's complete rubbish"

That sounds like a you problem. Plenty of other difficult games out there, ones much harder and better than this and they don't need to crutch it up with time wasting xp loss.

If xp loss needs to stay in, then maybe other people will learn to accept it when the game doesn't do stupid cheap nonsense like enemies instantly killing you from off-screen before you are even in range to see them.

Ah yes, the skill to predict a one shot will come from an enemy that is beyond the viewing space of the game. Sadly, most people myself included don't play with hacks and cheats that allow you to zoom out further than the game allows.

No hes right the only time YOU WILL BE 1 SHOTED is through a TELEGRAPHIC slam now if you STILL get 1 shoted it means your build isn't optimal and you rolled a bunch of mods on the map that hurt a lot.

As expected, you dishonestly sidestep context to play contrarian defense for the game's shortcomings. Your suggestion just amounts to brute forcing survival/luck against something that should not be happening in the first place, that being enemies able to attack and fatally kill you from outside vision range before you even have time to react or realize they are there.

I love how this thread went from "No you're playing the game wrong." to a full on civilized discussion about taking angry feedback and see what the problem might be and not dismiss things because some people have a different experience. And now it circled right back to "No, you're playing the game wrong.".
The more Reddit feedback they listen to, the worse the game will become. Reddits influence will transform this game into a slog similar to Diablo 4.

It looks like this "early access" take forever and even worse: GGG starts looping being in limbo.
Instead making proper ARPG they drawn is Souls ARPG for minority with overcomplexity introducing new currencies because hyperinflation over crap Trade system is without control.

I kinda agree but the biggest issue atm is the difference of difficulty between performing build that obliterate campaign bosses and bad build from begginers experimenting getting soft lock by DPS check.

It's very complicated to balance.


Still your first post is garbage, there is no point to put D4 here.


This will always be a case.

Most people have no time to sit down and spend a week just theory crafting and doing math to see what works and keep rerolling until something clicks.

So those people go for guides. And guides are in most cases heavily optimiszed by peoole who have all interactions in their pinky so when they read patch notes they already basically know what will work.

And that's how you get 70% LA ranger players
