yeah.. i dunno about that man, the AH addition wont end well and everyone knows that- they knew, that's that's why it was so much resistance from them... then we have nerfs to mobs like drowned crawler... have you seen it recently? they def cave in to the qq more than once without putting the games well being in front

To act like they don't cave into the "qq" as you said is deluded.
Hmm, people that want the game more difficult aren't that much angry. Unless you speak about the trolls saying "too easy game" because they have 50 000 hours on poe1, but i don't even consider them, they just like to giggle their e-penis.

Angry people often have the most honest feedback.

honest ? yeah, constructive? no. any conclusion you or me or anyone can arrive at when emotional is not going to be a good one.

It's better to try and understand what's causing their frustrations rather than telling people what emotions to feel. We don't live in North Korea.

Their frustration come from always played casual game, there is not much to understand. (casual games are fine for people that like it, but they don't understand that it's not the same world)

And for clarify, i call angry people acting like dev are their enemy and act against them on purpose. (very gamer gate / anti DEI attitude type )

I won't name names since the mods are draconian about that but most streamers that've played this game for 10s of thousands of hours all complained incessantly in 0.1. That's just a fact. People that actually found the game easy had good mechanics.

but they don't understand that it's not the same world

That's dismissive and not up to any us to judge. Again understanding if they have valid points to make is always a better way to approach things. Maybe they think it's too easy, maybe it's too hard.

Is it because the game doesn't explain it's mechanics very well or is it because they're awful at games. It takes time and inspection to understand these things. Not just they must be casuals.

I agree. POE's a complicated game that isn't for everyone.

yeah i often try to relate at least, and the whole 'your feedback is wrong because i had a diff experience' is tiring. together with other dismissive posts which are plentiful.

but best is to chill out before making a post to start with, then if you still feel the same make a strong argument with firm ground to stand on.

Well, my first reflex when i start an hard game is to seek infos outside the game. Because i know it will make it playable and enjoyable instead of just suffering. A thing that casual game doesn't require, that's how i reason about it.

I agree that should happen in an ideal world but realistically GGG should value what comes from the heart, even if the phrasing is bad. It's the support team's job to take that feedback back to the devs in a palatable way.

isn't following guides/solutions/wiki the 'casual way' to go about things like this? this makes the 'hard game' into 'casual game' as you put it
