Congratulations on making Diablo 4.5
While I agree that balancing's always difficult the real issue isn't as simple as that. It's the fact that GGG will backpedal on their vision as soon as there's pushback. I have no problems with the game becoming easier if that's what they want. I think that easier games tend to have a more mainstream appeal. But if what they truly want to capture is that early 2000s Diablo 2 magic, it'll have to come from their own vision even when there's resistance.
I'm excited to see where this game goes but I really hope they find their own voice in all this.
" It's the same as D4. It became diluted because they listened to idiotic community feedback. The best games were made in basements. Not in forums. Too many chefs always spoil the broth. Hell that's what happened to Blizzard as a company. So no I disagree with you there. Last edited by Yrto#6442 on Sep 9, 2025, 7:51:49 PM

Look man, sod you and your expectations. GGG, blizzard, your gran, don’t owe you or us anything.
All I can see is GGG working tirelessly to make as many people happy as possible. Have you watched the game dev interviews? Have you seen how much content they’re coming out with? Do you understand they’re running 2 games simultaneously with like 300 staff? Have you played act 4 and paid attention to the lore? Wtf are you on about soulless. The only one soulless is you making this ratty post. |

" They specified in ITW they are very carefull about feedback and be sure they don't listen some angry people but a real need for better game. (like the sprint & the trade) And there is no comparison between activision only targetting money and GGG wanting to do a good game. It's insulting lol. " Angry people often have the most honest feedback. The point is are they making legitimate points not their tone of voice. Working on messaging you tend to lose the message.
" Angry people want get rid of xp lose on death, want ms as implicit on boots, want more loot, want anti-one shot protection, etc. Angry people don't think about game design, they just ragepost after dying. |

" yeah.. i dunno about that man, the AH addition wont end well and everyone knows that- they knew, that's that's why it was so much resistance from them... then we have nerfs to mobs like drowned crawler... have you seen it recently? they def cave in to the qq more than once without putting the games well being in front |

" So again they're not making valid points and what they're asking for isn't in line with GGG's vision. But there's an equally angry group of people wanting the game to be more difficult. I really don't get your point. Last edited by Yrto#6442 on Sep 9, 2025, 8:00:00 PM

Would be nice to put some argumentation next time. Game's good now, 0.3 really fun to play: less farm, more predictability, possibilities to enable almost any build with more expensive and even bizarre items (not uniques, uniques are garbage in 90% born from very good design sketches, shame such good ideas dead by arrival), still seems late engame is actually adapted to new heights 0.3 brings to player possibilities and provides some strong enemies worthy of build polishing and this is good. There are bugs, yes, there are performance issue, yes, there are things unbalanced in either way, that ethernal problem for any game, but POE2 0.3 is actually a good game because it's fun and interesting to play. And we have entire 7 iterations before actual release, it's already have much more than entire Diablo 3 can propose! 30% baked game is better then D3, D4 full games (well, the Dialo lore and story feels a bit more theatrical and deep, but in POE2 story is also fine catches to want to see how all this going to end).
I know, how this game can generate hatred with lags, bugs and simply unluck, but it's not the point to attack developers. Be constructive and take rest sometimes, to much gaming is not healthy. Last edited by Nocturnal#3111 on Sep 9, 2025, 8:02:29 PM
