What the hell are you guys talking about LMAO

There are numerous interviews, composed of streamers taking community questions voted by their own viewers or reddit threads where they go into details about answering player's issues, and they often knew what the people were gonna talk about before the question was over.

Of course they read and listen.

0.1 and 0.2 has numerous improvement about map size in act 3, endgame maps number of tries, tower layout and biome improvement and that's just a few examples of the top of my head.

Do you think sprint wasn't a solution to something asked by the userbase? What about multiple support gems of the same type?

I swear you guys are wierd

Ye, and they had a in game automatic trade that everyone ask since 15 years after saying they would never do it.

Jonathan said "we have to wait to see if it's only raging people or every people that want a thing before do it" and you just deformed his words cause you mad.

Go actually play other skills and see for yourself how weak most of them feel.

I posted my invoker in my signature because I got so tired of reading posts like this. It's virtually a one-button build. I only use ice strike unless fighting a boss or a hefty rare. Built in SSF on league start.

Well, you obviously just wanna try to prove someone wrong/argue. If you actually read and understood my whole post, I clearly said there's a FEW meta builds, and the majority of skills aren't being used for a reason. Ice strike monk has been strong since launch. So yes, you're playing a meta build and acting like most skills in the game are balanced? Smh. If you're having so much fun, how about you go play the game instead of confirming my original post, while somehow thinking you're arguing against it.

I sincerely doubt anyone from GGG has looked at this board in a long time, sadly.

I tried to post this exact post on PoE 2 sub-Reddit and got instantly filtered out/deleted. Please everyone, if you see this post and agree, make a post yourself! Everywhere you may be heard! I really want to enjoy this game, but it just keeps disappointing and frustrating me, and many others. They want and need our feedback.

The Reddit is on another level of delusional.

The main issue is Speed Equals faster Mapping and faster mapping equals more loot, more currency faster progression in the endgame. Well and a faster Campaign too.

I know, it's crazy how many people wanna just argue and be right (or better yet, wanna hurt, humiliate, and feel superior to people), while denying this. Someone here said they don't play it because it's fast, they play it because it's "easy." Lol! Yea, it's stronger than most builds, like I said. Smh.

I'm almost positive Jonathan has gone on record saying they flat out don't listen to feedback, which uh.......doesn't really work in a EA game.
How can you confidently say something so blatantly wrong

Because we're three leagues in and have had the same problems through all 3 in varying degrees.

Then surely you can confirm this claim by posting a link to said video/post/whatever.

"Deadeye is the meta (by a long shot)" <-- that just isn't true. And it was the thesis statement of your OP.

I've only played invoker so far in 0.3, but I strongly suspect there are at least 20 very strong builds. There are a lot of passives now, and Well of Souls crafting is amazing.

Also: TY to the poster who mentioned crossbow lich. I might never have thought of that on my own, and it sounds really interesting.
SSF Rise of the Abyssal Ice Strike Invoker, high survivability and fast clear speed. Deprioritize armor and resistances; prioritize crafting a weapon and faster start of ES recharge. Build is shown at level 47, end of Act 3. It tore through Act 3 like butter.

"The customer is always right in matters of taste" is just a completely wrong approach to video games. When people say things like "the customer is always right" they were talking about businesses that needed to appeal to basically everyone. On video games, that is the wrong approach. In regards of game design you want something that appeals to a very specific group of people and you shouldn't be afraid of turning off people who don't fit that profile. When games try to appeal to everyone , that's death spiral territory. You are either going to end up lucking out and making something massive like fortnite or you are most likely going to make something that appeals to no one and doesn't stand out.

Then you say something like "Deadeye is meta" and "Deadeye is meta because ..." those are really arguable questions. I don't think the meta specifically says anything about taste. It only talks about what's strongest. And not even that. Because there are documented cases of games that have gotten meta refreshes just because the community changed their mindset even though there weren't any new updates to those games in years.

OP and many of you have the wrong approach, twisting words also won't get you sympathy. They do read and listen to customers, the problem is most of you have bad takes so they disagree. In the end a lot of you probably won't like the game anyway.

also not sure what your actual issue is - sure deadeye is easy to level and play --> a good choice for a league starter

but it's far from the only valid and powerful build.

also as others pointed out - the 0.3 patch has been the best one so far if we're talkinbg about considering and implementing community feedback

If there was as much balance as you're claiming there is, more people would be playing more builds. Go watch SirGog's recent YouTube video. By far, most people are playing one build, and there is a core reason for that. Period. I don't know what you're trying to argue or defend here. Having such a large scale imbalance in classes and skills is a huge issue.

Streamers is the reason why. People just see someone say something is cracked and they flock to that like lemmings.
The thing is : people play a good popular easy league starter, but often they aren't motivated to do another char with different build to spend there money in. And anyway, what's the issue with class popularity ? It's a pve game.
