I'll say it. SLOG SLOG SLOG
I wonder when Jonathan will finally understand that no one wants an ARPG like Elden Ring, it simply doesn't work in this genre, and that is it.
I know some people, aka hardcore casuals, wanted to enjoy the campaign for 500 hours, but the idea was tested already, and it failed miserably. Why are we doing it again exactly? So many Q&A and feedback, and Jonathan is sticking to his vision like he never understood why he was even able to make Poe2. Well, I can't wait for his feedback. GolompPL

" To me it was fun to play through one time, just like a souls game. But to have to do it with every character and every season is just too much. IMO the campaign is just too big and too long and a janky sprint mechanic doesn't change that. The characters and skills in general are too weak and making builds revolve around some big brain 8 skill Tony Hawk combo is not the answer to this problem. LA Deadeye should be the minimum benchmark smoothness for getting through the campaign - and even then it still feels extremely long. The fact that like 80% of people are playing it should be enough data for them to realize people do not want some ball buster campaign. They just want to have fun and blow up monsters using cool spells. The bosses can be hard that's fine whatever. Last edited by Weaver#3527 on Aug 31, 2025, 1:31:11 PM

" Even the bosses are too much. Way too much health. It took somewhere between 10-15 min to beat the act 2 boss. In the previous leagues I would have been done by now but with this one, I keep taking breaks. ITS SOOOOOOOOOOOOO FUCKING BORING. I feel like I'm hitting them with spitballs. I have no idea of how they thought this would be a good idea for a free weekend. I dont understand the thought pattern here. The combat in this game feels like sprinting in a swimming pool. They are not hearing what the players are telling them. "Oh what they want is sprint" No...damn it no. They were told by players that the maps were too big and that the campaign was too long. I don't understand. It's not vague. "Oh they want checkpoints" No. The campaign and maps are too big. "Oh. They want sprint". NO...WTF NO. It's like looking at a stop sign and saying, "I should go faster". It does not make sense to me. I'm at the gorilla boss now and Im doing such little dmg that its crossed over into anti-fun. Dodge, hit once, run, run, dodge, run, hit once, dodge, run, run, dodge. This whole thing blows my mind. |

" I believe the not hearing what we are exactly saying falls into the beloved category ("you think you want it but you don't") and that our emperor is simply trolling us ;D GolompPL

" Yeah, you're clearly not playing the game. There's more than enough drops. |

" So you know how many of those people are weekenders? |

Newer player here i played poe 1 for probably under 100 hours total wasn't a fan but initially played poe 2 because it had the d2 vibes to it and looked much better.
Played spark sorc on release put a lot of hours into it but ultimately just quit because bosses were gated and a slog and the economy was screwed and everything was too expensive for a newer player to afford. Seeing streamers/players farm currency at like 100x the rate and ultimately reaching a wall where the only way to progress was upgrades that were so highly inflated it wasn't worth the time investment and i quit and didn't touch the game until 2 days ago. I was pretty excited to play this again opting for spark bloodmage however so far around level 25 the games boring tedious everything takes forever to kill and its not even endgame yet. You guys need to buff damage across the board for all classes and nerf dmg/hp on boss fights the game is meant to be a balance of fun and challenging but atm its neither its just tedious and slow and making me want to quit again. Holding out to see a patch addressing it and im glad even more experienced players are seemingly feeling the same way. Last edited by Elronoce#4259 on Aug 31, 2025, 2:53:33 PM

I dint believe this game could get worse 2 big patches in a row, but GGG did it. This deserves some kind of award.
You guys can kiss GGGs ass as much your daily intake needs, but this is miserable and boring experience at its peak. This game goes in opposite direction of PoE1 too much, trying to sell this crap that goes against everything PoE1 makes great is just absolute bullshit. People complained about PoE1 campaign for years and asking for alternate leveling and it dint happen and still ggg decides to make PoE2 campaign longer, slower and harder. I still have to laugh when i remember hearing Jonathan say that you can play any skill and if you follow recommended supports you should have perfectly fine time playing. Such a great joke. I guess hes just a god gamer with the best rng you can ask. I wish i could see him stream his PoE2 campaign walkthrough. That would be material for endless supply of memes. You guys think that full release is coming soon and they will fix it in few patches. Jokes on you if you expect anything soon, if the full release is in 2026 im gonna be shocked, when they announced PoE2 everyone was expecting it to release 2021, i was joking about 2025 and missed by month. |
