The gold cost to trade is out of control and flat out ridiculous..

1k gold is "worth" 1c so all of those prices are completely reasonable. The only thing GGG needs to change is to nerf crop shipping and add UI improvements to Faustus.

I don't think there's too much automated funny business happening on the exchange or you wouldn't be able to buy any scarab 7:1c.

Help me to understand how you arrived at 1c = 1k gold?

Because as its understood outside of things like RTOAS, Gold carries, and Allflames (which in the current leagues are over 2d ea) currency cannot buy gold, its the whole point of the gold.

he probably means 1k gold can do a trade "valued" 1c
The picture of 1 div vs 1900 alteration orbs is all you need to see. One of the most reasonable casual trades ever...And how muhc gold is it? lmao

This current system is ridiculous and lazy design. Why would you charge that much for normal trades like that? Especially when the alternative is to trade for more that 1 inventory full of orbs...Fusings aswell, nothing more normal than a trade like that buying 1xxx fusing for 1 div or selling it...

Absolute out of line ridiculous...Shouldn't have put the lesser eldritch ember picture on top, though... attracts antagonistic idiots unfortunately, who never see the actual problem...

lol perhaps for the slightest bit of time you can think about what you just posted....

Let's look at a real life example: if you wanted pennies, would you be handing someone a $100 bill at a time to get 10k pennies back? No, THAT would be patently ridiculous. The same is true of these asinine trades you talk about. The REASON 1 div : 1900 alterations is so expensive and cumbersome is simply because the value differential between the two is so spread apart. It's impractical in EITHER trade to do that.

The "normal" person will trade however many chaos for a full inventory of alts at a time, or break the alteration trade on faustus to what they can currently afford gold-wise. There is no reason you HAVE TO trade a div to alterations in the first place: that is a stupid choice that YOU are trying to make. Faustus was not designed to remove the "limited inventory space" issue that normal trading sometimes experience (always though entirely under your control). He does do that, to a point, but it was never truly a rationale for his existence.

You / We were told that the MORE numerical currency you are trying to get (ie: the higher the ratio), the more the gold cost. So.......ask for less at a time. Or use an appropriate valuation of trade that involves a much smaller ratio. The price goes up based on value of each side of the currency, but also the ratio. I would bet that the gold cost going from chaos to the same number of alterations is likely less, although I haven't proven that it could be wrong. But the sheer fact that you are choosing a $100 bill to trade with is likely the reason its so expensive.

Again....its not a problem of function; its a matter of perspective, thought, and actual analysis of what you are personally asking.

Your post just tells me that you have obv never rolled for +1 skills or the likes, t1 mods to recombine etc... maybe you have never used alterations for their purpose at all other than in the campaign maybe and you always wonder who is so stupid and gives me real currency for my alterations, hahaha. Otherwise you would not post a statement like that...How is trading for less at a time a solution to that??? If you don't like crafting fine, but 60k gold for a simple trade liek 1 div vs 1,9k alterations(that are gone in minutes after you ruin your finger with it) is in no way justified...

Just oppose out of boredom, lmao
