Lag Fix Inside - After Fighting For Hours I Found a Fix!
Yea this "fix" did nothing for me.

I was getting these massive lag spikes, my ping would go from 20 - 30 ms all the way past 5kms and then I'd get booted from the game. It would happen at least once every 20 - 30 minutes. Since performing the change that was suggested by the OP I haven't had a single issue and it's been 4+ hours.
I'd like to know how changing the shader cache size is fixing ICMP (ping). Nice find, at the end of the day, a fix is a fix. I'll take it! |

The amount of tech illiterate people browsing the internet and giving "advice" on things they don't understand is absolutely wild.

I have also expanded my shader cache, but to add to it a few extra details ... I can also confirm that whilst I double VPN'd a connection to Australia through Washington, and ran "arp -a" in my terminal to list my connections because why not, I must appease my confirmation bias somehow, absolutely 100% double checked it was not infact raining outside, I have fixed the server instability -- for everyone!
Fixed! You're welcome |

"Thank you kindly. I'll remember your noble gesture the next time I'm re-filling my cars blinker fluid. It's the least I can do! |

" I'd like to thank you for this, a huge thank, because it actually works, few hours in the game and no crashes so far |

Uh, you do realize thousands of people are getting booted at the same time, right? Try to connect immediately after a crash and you'll see. So, I assume all these thousands of people have a setting which makes them crash at the same time?
