Aspects of the game that NO ONE likes.

" Expedition is awesome. Take Extreme Archaeology if you don't want "set up time". | |
" The whole set up process is a bit puzzle-like, it's fun. They were okay before the recent buff, but now after, expeditions are actually incredible. They're more accessible now too, the set-up is a lot more forgiving now than it was before. I get why the tedium of setting up might be annoying to some, but clearly some people enjoy it. So it's one of those things that I don't think would be a candidate for major adjustment or just straight up removal from the game. |

" +1. Easily my favorite mechanic. Though I wish Rog would still craft. |

" + against Expedition. Not only the logbooks are rare, they often does not contain the boss. I was surprised that they decided to carry it over from the original game. While there was such a great content "Abyss" with the chance to spawn mysterious hole in the ground, leading to the caverns with monsters and stuff. |

Re: map layout: I think the problem is slightly different than your OP, at least before level 80+. Since it takes much longer to kill packs than it did in PoE1, and the packs are more dangerous requiring active concentration, there are too many packs per map. I find myself doing identical actions too many times. It's boring. Smaller maps would mean fewer packs. But maybe it would be possible to keep the same maps and checkpoints, but make the content in the maps more focused, and more varied. Less total time to complete the map, and more kinds of content while completing it.

" Thanks for pointing that out. It seems the majority of players feel that the maps are too big, so I added that in there. I'm level 97 currently and I honestly forgot what it was like being below level 90 even. Hopefully mentioning the map size is sufficient to support your point. If you'd like me to add anything else in there feel free to let me know. I'd also like to hear others' feedback on the map size, since I feel as though there are many variables that come into play that would influence how someone feels about the map size/time it takes to complete maps. |

I actually disagree with maps to big. I would like to be in game longer before having to craft more tablets or maps.
Maps need to either chain without going back to hideout. Anything that takes you out of the action just plain sux. Or make a path plan that lets you seamlessly go on to the next map. The constant stop and go sucks. Maps should have meaning as well. The AI generated map thing takes away from Wraeclast. I want to see the vision of the world. Travel to cities, fight for a territory. Encounter mobs from that region. Have specific loot to those regions. AI is so lazy. |

On the expedition note the UI or screen for that is a friggen mess. Maybe a way to use icons to convey the same crap. It's literally a wall of text.
