Aspects of the game that NO ONE likes.
" Understood, thank you. So you're referring to the visibility of monster effects being difficult to see, and therefore difficult to telegraph/counter? I'm updating the thread to add a bit more context to the list. Please feel free to make suggestions. My main goal here is to try and keep an organized list of issues that would be easier for GGG to access, as opposed to having to sift through a bunch of threads. |

I would like to add the crazy lack of menu/tab functionality.
Auto sort - It saves time, space and sanity. Most important of all I get to get back to PLAYING the game faster. I keep playing random indie titles that can do this, it cannot be that hard to implement. The only reason you would not, is to purposely waste player time (stop it). Elemental Skill locking - This is BORING beyond compare. Give us a move set and let us slap elemental gems WE WANT onto the skills. This might prevent future mess ups like not ever being able to balance the elements, at least we would have different lightning things other than spears flying around. |

I am a Dog and i will just drop my load and leave on to the next post |

" I agree with you on the crafting. I haven't played POE 1 myself but from what I hear, it's a lot easier to craft a high tier item compared to POE 2. It's sort of a similar situation with the recombinator, I get why some people feel as though it's too unreliable. At the same time, if it had higher chances of combining two high tier modifiers, that would result in a massive drop in the market value of practically any non-unique item. Consequently, there would be a drastic change in the economy. Whether that's a good or bad thing, probably depends on the individual player. |

Build diversity, or the lack thereof. We are pigeonholed into a few builds. Every other build, except LS/Bleed is being "fixed", "balanced", "nerfed". Currently, if you attempt full team pinnacle carry with almost any other build(yes, there is also wind serpent), you would be masochistic. Some secret reason why LS and bleed are left untouched?
Vegetarian - Ancient tribal slang for the village idiot who cant hunt, fish or ride. Lowballer - Ancient tribal slang for a total waste of time, and hence, will be totally and utterly ignored. Last edited by emoqqboy#0582 on Jun 10, 2025, 8:42:55 AM

" I think there is no easy way to nerf BM Rake build. If you will ask yourself, what's broken, then you will find yourself struggling to answer. In this context everything is broken: Tangletongue, Infernal Warcry, the ascendancy node itself, etc. They can make damage output somewhat lower, but if nothing drastically changes, BM Rake is with us for a long time. The build just makes sense. You can easily build it without Tangletognue. As I did my Hammer of the Gods BM in 0.1. It was very strong. It's the combination of the ascendancy + Inferal Warcry what makes every hard hitting attack a potential contender for a broken boss killing skill. these are all valid but don't matter. People will put up with all the hassles mentioned but the builds are bad. Every build is boring. Every single one of them. Huge snoozer.

Those are certainly issues for me. Also,
Expeditions just plain sucks. Set up time. Currency and socketables need to just auto loot to the stash. Mobs at start points of maps, different rooms of maps, and buffs being lost at intermissions of bosses like jumanra. Nothing like going down into a crypt in the cemetery and being met by a elite and six casters before you have time to buff up certain classes. |

I actually agree with build diversity. But not as you would put it. Life based specs needs buffed massively. Armour and evasion are terrible compared to all out energy shield, ci or mom specs.
Some ascendancy classes need another rework. |

" While you might be right, I'm trying to be optimistic about it. It seems like Mark is genuinely motivated to improve the experience of players across the board, so if we bring awareness to some of these matters, it could amount to something. That's one of the reasons why I'm trying to stray away from the most controversial topics, because those are much less likely to be adjusted in the short term as they would likely cause a huge uproar within the community. While there's always going to be some degree of subjectivity (because there might be someone out there who enjoys temporal chains for some odd reason), bringing attention to the more objectively negative features within the game seems to me like it has higher potential to inspire positive change. |
