Jumped into this thread and saw this bonkers insane post ?!?!?!

Settlers was a year long, not because PoE 2, but PROFITS?!?!

You do realize the developers literally TOLD US STRAIGHT OUT that the delays were because PoE 2 was taking more manpower than they planned for. They did multiple interviews and videos walking through every single step by step reason why Settlers needed to be extended indefinitely.

And Settlers is NOT making money. A new league would have given them more money than the entire last 10 months of Settlers combined. They make 99% of their money in the first WEEK of a new league. Even YOU said as much in your own posts lol.

Wow. First-rate post of the year right there.

Said it yourself. "PoE2 was taking more manpower than they planned for", manpower, which is another word for employees / staff that any company can hire more anytime it pleases as long as the owners / shareholders believe or think the return / investment will be worth. Economics 101 and thanks for proving my point.

The less resources a company has the more it "nit picks", like where it will be located, the resumes of the applicants it intends to hire and if it will agree to pay their demanded wage/salary. With money you can produce anything at whatever speed you please. GGG already had the manpower needed for PoE1 leagues to arrive at the same / similar pace, so ask yourself why the company / shareholders choose to relocate them to PoE2.

YOu sure love to talk about "economics 101" when showing, multiple times, you know nothing about economics.

haha....hahahaha......hahahahahaha! Sure they can do it anytime they want: except for the fact that it takes time to recruit, it takes marketing to post the job, it takes restructuring to open new positions, it takes money for all of that, they need to operate within local and international hiring laws, they need to justify the position and determine the length, they need to present the revised budget and new hires to the board for approval, they need to calculate future needs and how current hires might affect their bottom line, interview process and multi-round whittling, travel accommodations both temporal and financial....and much much more.

But sure...they can do it anytime they want! It's just clicking a button, right?

Economics 101 indeed...

And way to side-step all the OTHER wrong things you wrote in that single paragraph. Only to add a few more onto the table.

Ultimately, at least with that sentiment and ignoring the specifics, you ARE right....they can and DO hire more when needed. It takes time to do so. Hence...delayed 3.26 and focus on PoE2. For now. Only problem is NONE OF THAT is what you said in any of your posts, including the quoted part.
Starting anew....with PoE 2

You continue to say "thanks for proving my point", while simultaneously quoting things that do not in any way prove your point, and very obviously ignoring those posts (and parts of posts that you even quote) that objectively disprove it.

For example, you have yet to address the fact that you have zero support in this thread for a scheme that would require paying customers to pay for access to leagues, despite paying minimal money into the game yourself thus far. In your mind, how would it be a successful strategy for GGG to actively disengage proven repeat customers on the gamble that people who have thus far paid little or nothing would somehow become paying customers?

This has been repeatedly brought up in the thread, and you have not addressed it at all besides claiming that means that people who don't want to pay for the season access as not real customers or just done with the game (despite the fact that this is objectively false).

You're very good at completely ignoring posts that don't fit the narrative you try to paint, but don't be convinced that that means people don't see or notice the behavior - it's extremely apparent in all the threads you make.
I haven't been active on this sub in ~12 months, and I almsot forgot about good old kogogero. Good to see his takes are sill just as cooked as they were 12 months ago

For a person who "cares about PoE" you sure give great advice how to ruin it and pretty much kill it even harder than it was killed by no new content for 300 days.
If you think PoE has ANY chance of competing with Diablo when it wont be free, you are delusional. When people see both games are behing price tag, which one do you think they will pick? And Im not talking about long term PoE players, those will give money to GGG whether game is free or not. Im talking about newcommers.

I agree completely. I have begged some of my Diablo friends to just give PoE a chance and get a ways into a tree/build to really see the game blossom. Out of about 6 friends I was only able to convince one to try and he made it to act 2 :(.
