" Which proves my point why going forward PoE leagues do need a paywall, which will benefit the remaining and PAYING PoE players. If you don't intend to pay it means you already have better things to spend your time and money. There's plenty of jaded or disgruntled former supporters (whales) who for X, Y or Z reason now they've vowed to not spend more until again their X, Y, Z expectations are met, but again for GGG to meet certain expectations (markets/audiences demands) they'll need resources/funding that has to come from somewhere. I've said it before every $ (amount of support matters) and how we as "gamers" shape the future of the industry, including what's more to come and what will cease to exist. If you're going to listen to someone's advise about when, who or how you should support may as well be mine, because I'm the one who holds a distinct world record, which some here are already familiar with. I've spent a total of $120 USD on all new games (products) that arrived on the market after January 11th, 2011, which is why despite how my $100 support toward GGG seems insignificant as Sarno pointed it out, it's quite significant compared to the failure of countless other products to open my wallet. As time goes by only better things or products will arrive, and sometimes it may take years or a decade, but eventually they'll arrive and that's not good news for GGG, because we can only play one game at a time. The second half of 2025 already looking promising, especially the first half of 2026, but before everything is "shipped" and tested I'll still appreciate and care for the last game I've been supporting through the years. |

" I have no interest in playing 3.12, as I think the core PoE1 experience is MUCH better than what it was back then. That said, the chances of me spending any hard earned cash on PoE1/GGG are slim. If they'll keep a predictable league schedule and push out some quality leagues that contain long-term graphical/mechanical improvements to PoE1, then maybe. But I doubt that will happen at this point. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

" I haven't questioned your generosity. In a similar timeframe, I have spent several thousand euro on Path of Exile. You have a concern about Grinding Gear Games' finances. You think something needs to be done. And you... think everyone else needs to be on the hook for that. I am not accusing you of not being generous - but, perhaps, of lacking self-awareness. Before you argue other people need to spend more, why not spend at least as much as we have? You say you are concerned. Great. Go buy the $480 Liberator of Wraeclast supporter pack five times. After you've done so, then we can talk about whether others need to do more. You seem to have a double standard where the rest of us have responsibilities - but you're just some bystander who's removed from the situation. The attitude is extremely off-putting. Imagine the lack of introspection that would be required to spend your spare time telling people they’ve posted in the wrong section of some company's forum, only to then try accusing someone else of brown-nosing.

Don‘t Tell me what to do, thanks.
They’re doing great financially as far as I’m aware |

No one should ever spend money on video games unconditionally IMO. That also includes pre-orders.
I also don't think GGG is in a very bad spot when it comes to finances. They had two successful PoE1 launches and a massively successful PoE2 Early Access launch, which for 'most' players was P2P in addition to supporter packs sold. As I said earlier; I'll spend when GGG makes it clear that PoE1 is still a priority going forward. And that isn't made clear with ONE league that is more than half a year delayed. Bring me some coffee and I'll bring you a smile.

"No questions asked".
Yeah...no. GGG's bait and switch scheme has ruined any chance of them getting money from me, at least until they come back with something worth it. The old saying "Don't piss in my face and tell me it's raining" applies in GGG's current state of play. I poop, therefore I am.

" I'm glad you're back. You are one of a handful of people on these forums that genuinely make me chuckle. I poop, therefore I am.
