Not sure if your response about not losing XP until level x had a legitimate point or if you just don't understand the issue. Losing XP at lower levels isn't a huge deal, it can be recovered in a reasonable amount of time, and if it was recoverable where you died it wouldn't be an issue at all.

Just like hitting lvl 90 as a soft cap isn't a huge deal, because those 10 more levels don't really magnifiy your power.

Didn't reinforce it at all since you are completely wrong. Those 10 skill points do matter to me and a lot of other people who aren't using the handful of op metabuilds on op classes. And yes, I have a build on a lvl92 Merc that would gain a good boost in power with those extra skill points.

Incorrect. Softcore has ladders, too. That's what EXP loss is for. Reaching lvl 100 should be extremely hard/tedious, especially since it's entirely optional and provides almost no extra power over lvl 90.

It literally does give power in the form of 10 skill points lmao

And 99% of sc trade players don't care about the ladder there or don't even know it exists. Nice "ladder". Any competetiveness is completely fake, go play HC SSF if you care about competing as if this game is some e-sport.

Not to mention 8-10 extra passives adds much more flexibility to re-arrange a build, especially when defense is complete garbage on the left side of the tree.
