+1 time to give us a casual game mode like every other game with competitive play. Forcing everyone to play competitively ain't it guys even games like call of duty have non competitive game modes

" Not a proper solution given how incredibly slow the XP bar moves on normal gameplay (temple aside), at least on solo play. A good solution would be to just let us have higher level monsters to fight that give much better XP. I'm talking about up to lvl 100 monsters, so we can play in an environment where we are not suffering from severe XP penalty. And I'm not talking about juicing, but naturally occuring monsters. Maybe we need more Waystone tiers, and juicing would let you go beyond lvl 100. If we can level up faster after lvl 92, the XP loss wouldn't be so severe. leaderboards are one of the worst creations in gaming. they have a time and place but for the vast majority they are meaningless and having gameplay crafted around them is a negative to the majority. at the very worst you get what happened to d4 and their entire end game is just variations of leaderboards. leave that stuff to the pvp games.

Just make a mid-core league or something. Mid core has death xp (and maybe extra loot drops or something?) Hardcore stays as it is -- die and you're done Soft core league -- no death xp. Either that or make it so that monster level doesn't cap out at 82. Cap it at 92 or something, I dunno. |
