Why not have two inputs for roll. Tap too roll, or hold to sprint” if no enemies are in player Radius”. This would make back tracking feel better. Also checkpoints need to be placed on the map like a 5 sided dice. 4 checkpoints in the corner and one in the center of map.

While I personally appreciate -any- movement towards what I think would make the game more playable for me, I think what I find the be the most absurd and also conspicuously missing issues are:
Bosses take forever (likely cause most builds suck, cause "IT HAS TO BE FAIR") Even when killed, they drop no loot Even when/if they drop loot, the loot is trash Even if you acquire enough trash to try crafting something, the orbs are substantially more rare to drop This is compounded by the multitude of fake options provided to instill player feeling some sense of agency. Sure, spend 10 minutes choosing your loadout! Doesn't matter cause your build still sucks, cause these gems are all just choosing which way you want to gain 1% damage increase, unless you want to risk a ban by making a macro for the 5 skills you'll have to cycle through -millions- of times for no apparent reason. I vaguely recall the lead dev basically stating that all of this was pretty much the goal. I should not be surprised; however, I am surprised that after seeing the common thread amongst feedback, that the response is "well lets just make parry better, that'll show them how fun the game is!" If I don't feel rewarded for a challenge, then I'm not going to undertake the challenge. I don't play this game because I'm a WoW gold farmer. I play(ed) it because it was fun. It is now a chore, without even the benefit of feeling like I at least checked something off of the "to-do" list; actually, quite worse, I feel like I wasted time that I could have accomplished a task useful to someone, anyone in the world, and instead I chose to spend that time being miserable. It's quite literally more fun to watch someone else play so that I can feel that I least have company in my misery. In the meantime, can we at least have the option to go back to the previous version? It was way more fun. Loot dropped at least. And I had several viable build options, whether I wanted to click one button or ten. |

Thanks for working, what is not working is this launch.
You didn't balanced anything. You destroyed every build that was working b4 Dawn of the hunt. And you launch new characters that are as viable as every build you ran threw the ground. Also with all the number % nerf you still went on too remove and re allocate jewel sockets on the skill tree wish made it even more nerf for what was working before. There's still builds that work with the concept of stat stacking, On PoE 1. You are making everything super linear on the skill tree at this point I dont even need to see the entire skill tree if all the nodes worth taking are literally on huge clusters that you get on lvl 40 maybe or even sooner. By doing this you take way what you had special that is the freedom to try different things with the supposed enormous amount of options you were supposed to have with the ginourmous skill tree. I have abou 600+ on poe 2. And I was really hyped to see the first season of poe2 EA but I think I never got so dissapointed with a GGG launch. I know it probably doesn't feel good for the team either. Get your poop together because this aint it sadly. I wish I was posting to say I love the game. But man this one made actually post on the forum something that I never done much all this years since poe beta. PEACE & LOVE, I hope you can fullfil your dreams in your future endeavours. |

This doesn't EVEN TOUCH THE SURFACE of the issues in the game.
What an utterly tone-deaf take on zones being to large. They are too large because THEY ARE TOO DAMN LARGE!! Not because there is no "entertaining content" in them. They are simply 3-5 times bigger than they should be. This is not reassuring in any way. ~ Seph

Nothing drops = game dead. Why grind if it's futile?
It's too hard to upgrade gear during the campaign because nothing drops. Accordingly, the game is incredibly unsatisfying to play no matter the build. You need to buff loot -- a lot. |

Not going to lie, Act 3 is a complete and utter slog to get through. It's a sick area, everything looks great but it's full of nothing and zones last forever.
It needs to be chopped up and parts either scrapped or reworked. |

That's all well and good but what about all of the skills that you made unplayable? I was really looking forward to trying hexblast with the lich because it's basically a match made in heaven. Of course, then you guys make it a worthless skill. Why have high level BA skills if you're going to so drastically limit the build potentials? I'm running around with no res, hitting weaker than gma, getting run down by 50 group mobs 3x faster than me. I've got 1000s of hours in souls games. If I want to do an sl1 ds3 run I'll go do that! Where's my poe in poe2?
Please loosen up on the vision or you'll blind yourself to reality |
