Nerfed everything into the ground while retaining 10% exp loss on death. The basically nerfed an already nerfed late endgame progression.
That does it for me. I planned on re-installing post patch but now I'm just done with this game for good. GGG is completely clueless on how to actually balance their vision Last edited by CovidPatientZero#0332 on Apr 2, 2025, 10:26:30 PM

grim feast being removed instead of nerfed is actually hilarious, now everyone can make their own build cause everything is shit now lol

" When i do play trade league i usually ask people what build theyre playing and get ideas. but if you play sctrade its a dumpster fire to begin with, you will hurt their divines per hour if you ask a question so you may never get to talk to anyone. |

My last few builds were chaos witch and flameblast sorceress.
I might add that I did not look up any guides or anything, but just went with my own understanding which isnt perfect. Anyway, knowing that, my opinion of chaos damage. There was basically no way to properly deal chaos damage. I started with some spreading chaos dots, but I was not able to scale that damage and even before I hit maps, I had already been forced to switch to hexblast. I got bored of the character very early in maps. As I see it, hexblast is dead and with it any chaos builds I could think of. That was just natural move to abilities that worked and hexblast was the only one I found. Im not saying there isnt for sure since thats "any chaos builds "I" could think of." Flameblast was annoying to make. You got it so late, but it did work for a moment. Its clear was fine with the solar orb or whatever. It too ran out of juice early in maps with my skill and understanding. I'm happy I played it, since now it is not even a usable skill with its cooldown. I dont see how it works with fast mobs like this game has with long cooldown. There are better skills to use rather than pay attention when you can actually use it once. It worked as an area denial. Pop solar orb and detonate a max charge flame blast repeatedly in the area since mobs ran through there and also leave big ignites. Now? It wont be around to do ignites anymore. You cant use it to destroy coming groups of monsters. It will be something you pop on a boss a few times, I think. Perhaps that is the intention, but its the biggest hit, I can think right now, and Im not sure where I should, for example, go for large ignites anymore. No point doing ignite build, if you cant generate proper ignites. I will concentrate on something else. Not that I was having much hope for this patch. I was already going to skip it. People told me to wait for the patch notes (and see how they fix everything!). Last edited by Morae#1328 on Apr 2, 2025, 11:04:52 PM

Their 'solution' for player retention is to force glacial gameplay. They're actively sabotaging the player experience with debilitating nerfs, oppressive crowd control, and artificial delays, effectively speedrunning their own game's demise. Imagine a 100+ hour campaign – that's their goal. This isn't an ARPG; it's a slow-motion torture simulator. Thankfully, Last Epoch arrives in two weeks, offering a much-needed escape from this disastrous patch. It's clear why they held back the patch notes; they knew the backlash would be immediate.
