Content Update 0.2.0 -- Path of Exile 2: Dawn of the Hunt

No one played the update yet and most say not fun, lul. Even bigger lul, they'll still play 100's of hours.
This is what we needed. Nuke existing meta from orbit and nuke everything as well. We are in early access and if they would have let meta as is and gave us more speed and power there wouldn't be any room in the future. Got really bored after december because the game felt like PoE1 with fresh coat of paint.

Try to look into the future and you may see that this is the best way to feed power to players for years to come. I know we must get everything now but try to have patience.

Sure the nerfs hit us hard as hell but we have no idea what kind of supports or new uniques we are getting. There will be some insane combinations.

If I want to zoom zoom and clear screens with one skill, I will go play PoE1. Early access is the time to slow everything down.

I hope that they will slow the monsters as well. The monster speed compared to player speed seems to stay totally unbalanced.

hmm its the least played character.
I know lets nerf it so hard it becomes utterly useless.
Yeah, i cant understand why its fun on their minds take 10 minutes walking slow as a turtle looking every single corner of the maps for rare monsters on boring layouts, its like, the end game for maps turned into walking simulator, just watching their 3ds arts. Gratz for ur new game GGG now i can see POE 1 with new good eyes again at least we can feel that we are playing something to have fun, btw its the main goal of a game .

Btw magic find state the same, we still have to get rarity from all ur gears to drop something, now we have to keeep these modifiers but nerfed so, we still forced to have magic find on all ur gear if we want to drop at least one rare item but now is weaker, good resolution btw. Poor little ssf players.

Deadeye, the ascendacy that have damage, defense, and mobility, lets keep her as its why not ? there is a lot of op choices right ?

Sadly the build i was playing and was quite sure will meybe get a mild nerf if any got absolutely decimated. I dont think that this would ever be viable option.

I was playing Decompose Pathfinder, the build was strong, but had a lot of downsides, so it seemed ok. With a lot of investment i got it to 3M dps and with ridiculous investment to 10M DPS and it always has the flaw of being slow in moving around. So theres the balance. The build relies on sacrificing high HP minions and using decompose on them to initiate poison cloud.

But as i read the notes this is what is changed:

1. Minion life increase is less at higher gem levels
2. Meat shield support gem does not increase minion life anymore (used to be 50%)
3. Skeletal Brute skill quality does not increase the life anymore (used to be 20%)
4. Decompose damage is now 19,5% and was 39,5% (it is halved)
5. Decompose can now have only 6 clouds at once (didnt have limit before)
6. Decompose cloud radius increases 20-80% per sec down from 50% - 200%
7. Sacrifice - minions revive 60% slower, used to be 30%
8. Half of the jewel slots are removed from the tree, most of the damage for the build came from ailment and poison magnitude jewels.

To sum it up, there are nerfs on top of nerfs for a build what was not exactly in the broken category.

Ah and along with, gas arrow and gas grenades also got the axe. Last I checked those were far from being broken skills.

At the same time, stat stacker gemling was maybe toned down 50% of its state, which was completely broken.


Let's be realistic here, minion builds were OP without any investment and minions had too much health. I like the approach since it surely should have feel different than PoE 1, which did, until I discovered minions.
