P2W crap can stay away.

It's an implicit subscription fee, and undermines all the forwarded purchases done by players that actually paid for the game development in the form of support, which was given based on how GGG positioned themselves in the market, when they were still their own.

Wonder what Chris would say about this.

Oh wait..

Instead, they can improve QoL further and make sure we don't hurt our wrists from all the clicks instead of making it worse to increase the reason to purchase it away. But that would mean too much difference between clients, it would mean the chinese players would not have to purchase a pet anymore.

So they can give us the pet for free, and anything else they come up with that is basically related to (intentional) poor ingame QoL with the accompanying purchase to 'fix' it.

GGG was big enough to stop releasing some new type of splinters with a stash tab to fix the clutter a good while ago, I personally don't want to go back and then have it much worse. It will lead to the point the game will be considered unplayable without the pet, pretty damn soon.
Did you try turning it off and on again?
You can add this and AH to poe2 that game is designed on new takes of poe1.

Do not add this bullshit to poe1.

I agree. Add as much P2W as you want into PoE 2. Hell, sell XP and BiS items in the MTX shop for all I care, I'm sure all these new players will love it.

But keep PoE 1 pure from shit like that.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
Nah, I don't want it.
+1 to all the features mentioned in the OP. Tencent are now the full owners/controllers, so rip this bandaid off and drop the illusion.

There are so many ARPG "features" that are just absurd to consider in 2025 like manually identifying items, manually picking up tons of currency items divided into smaller portions ON PURPOSE (e.g. sim splinters), manually sorting everything in inventory, constant inexplicable deaths everywhere, etc.

The absurd masochistic practices of POE make D2 (the "inspiration") from TWENTY YEARS AGO look modern in comparison.
I want it

AND AH!
Auctioneer House - is a MUST!
'POE2' is not 'POE1 2.0'! https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3614313
No we don't, but you do though.

As title say, me and all my guild and all the friends i got in my list want the same subscription based pet that China players have. We absolutely be happy to pay a monthly fee (even higher than what chinese players are paying atm) in order to avoid hours of walking to get 40+ splinters per map.

Show respect also to non Chinese players GGG.

[Path of exile] auto pick up pet in china realm
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JGJ71BGYhqQ

They should incorporate additional quality-of-life features from the Chinese version of Path of Exile into the international version, such as:

1. (Auction House/Trade Market) – A more streamlined, in-game trade system that reduces reliance on third-party websites.

2. Revive Coins – Allowing players to revive in place instead of having to restart maps, reducing frustration in tough encounters.

3. More Stash Space by Default – The China version provides more stash tabs without needing as many microtransactions.

4. Pet Auto-Item Pickup – Pets can automatically collect currency and basic items, reducing the need for manual looting.

5. Auto-Sort Stash Button – A single-click stash organization feature to quickly sort and arrange items.

6. VIP System – A battle pass-like system that provides QoL benefits without disrupting game balance.

7. Better Currency Stack Sizes – Increased stacking for currency items like Chaos Orbs, Exalted Orbs, etc., to free up inventory space.

8. Death Log (Death Recap System) – Provides a detailed breakdown of how you died, showing the final hits received, debuffs, mitigation details, and a timeline of incoming damage before death.

9. Auto-Identify Feature – Automatically identifies items when picked up, saving scrolls and time.

10. Improved UI & Minimap Enhancements – A cleaner, more detailed UI with better quest tracking and improved minimap clarity.

11. Daily Login Rewards – Small bonuses for logging in each day, such as currency shards or crafting materials.

12. Auto-Flask System – Automatically uses flasks based on conditions like health or mana thresholds, streamlining flask management during combat.

"Multi-flask hotkey in official Chinese POE:

Hi guys, I checked out the chinese POE site today and noticed a post about multi-flask hotkey available in TGP(Tencent gaming platform?), it's an official program developed by the POE publisher Tencent.

From the thread it seems that you can toggle on/off for the flask you want to multi, and using tilde (~) to activate it.

How do you guys or GGG(if you guys are reading) think about this?

Here's a direct link to the picture I was talking about:
