We want auto pickup companion subscription based like China users have.

I want a loot pet. If we can't have the same systems, then access to trading outside of China should be locked.

They literally have a "Chinese Client" and don't trade with ppl from the normal client.

And before someone comes and says "Yadda, yadda... we play atm with the Chinese ppl"... yes... they use for PoE2 EA the normal client, but they don't have their P2W functions on that client - because it's not the Chinese client.

Have you noticed the emphasis on player experience/enjoyment in the Chinese PoE?

Or how certain things, like being given bonus stash tabs, are completely null and void here?

So, was my example of the Chinese government, outlawing predatory gaming practices wrong? Very much seems like they have a better game compared to us, in many different ways.

Definitely seems like this one is taking advantage of players more. Especially when a superior alternative seems to exist.

Chinese looter pets are no more p2w than a full array of specialized stash tabs we have here. Not even meaning QoL, you physically cannot fit industry-grade amounts of currency/maps/tablets/fragments into default free stash space due to stack size limitations. Even if you never put equipment items in stash.

Stash tabs function as endgame access purchase, so to call things straight: either poe shouldn't be called f2p at all, or should be called f2p with p2w.

Looting breach splinters by hand is trolling by now, poe2 era and they still cannot make splinters combine and drop all at once at the center of breach after it closes:)
This.

And i bump this request cause it should be a huge priority for GGG imho (other than make multiple breaches in savannah above 40 fps not anymore a dream for me with a 5090 suprim liquid x and the best CPU available atm).

Chinese client has a pay to win layer not developed by GGG but their parent company

I would imagine there are certain things GGG is not allowed to do because that would impact the P2W-ness of the chinese client.

The league is, I believe, subscription - you pay to join it in the first place. So none of the base features are free. Chinese players are, I believe, able to join the standard leagues that we all get.

The "auction house" looks like the same thing that's in the PoE1 console client, something I really wish they would port over to main PoE.

The "pickup pet" costs a fair amount of money and you have to re-buy it every league I think.

All the convenience tokens cost real money.

This is the nature of the "softer-core" league you are asking for: It would be paying for convenience every season, and separated from the free leagues.

It's not necessarily a bad thing to bring to western market, and with the potentially higher player count of PoE2 splitting the league would be less impactful but people will still whine about how expensive the convenience features are.
do we know roughly how much... honestly as you get older.. you have less time and more money.

i used to play ffxiv so paying a montlhy subscription isnt an issue for me.

QOL is most important... am not uber/elite or anything and dont care about being the best, put me in a softcore league... i dont need a shiny ladder/banner or anything.. just let me have fun!

just want to play the game casually without doing all the tedious chores atm just to play the game.
At a complete guess about $30 a season before consumables
Me and at least 40+ people I play with would instantaneously pay that and even more.
Some of that stuff could be nice but a lot of it sounds a bit too P2W. I'd rather have none if there is even a tiny chance that the rest of it comes along.

I don't want daily login and all the other fomo stuff. PoE2 is the first F2P game I've bought currency for since 2012 I think (which was the first time for me) since they have a transparent system where the currency is a 10:1 ratio to real world currency.

Have you noticed the emphasis on players wallets in that version? Auto loot pet wold be nice, but not as a monthly subscription.
I hope PoE2 never shifts into this mobile game direction you guys describe here.
