A Message to Path of Exile 1 Players

Very Unfortunate. I was expecting a slight delay to March but not even started 3.26 was quite the move. I see why Chris decided to fade away from the spotlight.

At least I can attempt to try a new PoE 1 League Series Idea.

Damn, I'm a game dev lead in a US company but I love POE so much I'm willing to give up my position and apply as a normal dev for half the salary if GGG hire people outsize of NZ. :(

HAHHA I feel like I'm the only guy who is all, "YES! I am finally smashing content like I've never done with my shipping returns yielding multiple rares with several T1s on it..."

They will call this thread groung zero. Maybe it will get a statue.

To all the jackasses in this thread, chill. It makes perfect sense what he said. Also shit happens. They will continue supporting poe1 they always have. They have done a very good job keeping their word to the best of their ability and they made it clear they will continue supporting poe1. Chill the fuck out.

Thank you GGG Keep it up. Yall are amazing and continue to make great games. Thank you for making PoE2 as it has allowed me to play the game I love with my friends. Toning down the entry level understanding of the game and everything has been amazing. I wouldnt be able to play videogames with as any people as I am now if not for you guys.

Excited for 0.2 and 3.26

Thing is, the endgame of PoE 2 is not good. Seriously, it's not. You need to rework A LOT of systems... I respect the work and passion you put in, but I expect much better from game designers regarding PoE 2 endgame.

Where is atlas customization ? Player agency for running maps and content ? The game is just a zoomer 1 button build loot simulator.

Rework the endgame, rework the atlas, remove towers/citadels, make the skill tree better ; and last but not least the crafting system needs a lot of love. Remove or rework the trials...

The campaign is great, atmosphere is good, graphics and sounds are good ; but the rest is currently very very average and not engaging on the long term.

I'm sad to say that all I want now, is PoE 1 league.

Honestly this feels like a betrayal to your loyal fans who have supported you since 2013. Right now I want to play Path of Exile, but not Path of Exile 2, sadly

I'm not a hater, I want you to succeed, but you need to seriously re-think ALL the endgame systems of PoE 2...

It may make sense to you, or to them financially, I was surprised it took this long for being bought by a corporation to become more monetary focused.

But to many it doesn't make sense, and both takes are fine.

Also they did anything but make it clear they will continue supporting PoE 1.
