GGG Doesnt care about your feedback
+1 and -1 at the same time.
They probably took some feedback. The last update brought huge QoL improvements, so -1 for that. On the other hand, they clearly ignored an unforgivable amount of feedback, especially regarding the problems with warrior/mace/HP/witchhunter. They seem completely unaware of the players’ dissatisfaction. To emphasize, based on the content of Darth’s interview, you can tell it’s a case of “unaware” rather than “knowing but deciding to stick to their own plan.” I’d like to ask those simps to stop sugarcoating their impression of GGG. What’s laughable about this thread is that the critics are exaggerating too much, while the defenders are overly glorifying things. Neither side is providing a detailed account of the facts, and it’s even escalated to personal attacks. I believe GGG indeed ignored an unforgivable amount of feedback. On the other hand, we should give them time to catch up. GGG has spent six years creating a very interesting new world while also creating garbage like the mace. EA has simultaneously revealed both the massive mistakes they’ve made and the fruits of their hard work, which is fascinating. I’d rather they make all their mistakes during EA than have them develop the game locked up at home, lacking proper testing, and then release the official version all at once. |

" I will say the moderation on this forum really doesn't help. Not to crap on individuals, I'm sure it's understaffed, they're mainly reacting to spam and stuff that might raise legal issues and they're working with bad tools. But my god. Find a thread merge tool. Use a platform that has even the most basic features. Put some stickies up for regular topics etc etc. Would be an absolute nightmare trying to get useful information out of here (out of the main feedback section I mean, the utility bits seem to work better). I mean of course they're going to listen to streamers (sometimes) when the rest has so much noise. It's going to be so much easier filtering around 20 people who often do a reasonable job of representing and summarising their respective community's views than it is sifting through this mire. " Think they need to be a bit more ruthless about making changes/experimenting too. But just be very clear about this. Even use a test league or something. I think much of it is actually very well made for 6 years with some major changes in intention/overall design. But that's now meeting several hundred thousand gamers, a significant number of whom are very good at breaking shit. I mean we know endgame is a pretty hasty add-on; that needs a lot of iteration. Trying to stick with principles vaguely fleshed out in a design meeting 7 months ago is just going to... Well, it's just going to be 'tack poe 1 endgame on, but make it look different'. I'll keep playing though, be interesting to see what the possibly approaching economy reset/league brings for sure. |

It's amazing how much feedback people are posting to this thread, when OP clearly told you all not to.
So many of you confuse "listening to feedback" with "accepting all feedback". I cannot express this clearly enough: GGG WILL NOT make every change that people have requested. Nor will they even acknowledge half of the braindead "feedback" that some provide. This is normal. It is not an indicator that they don't listen. " You understand it wrong. They clearly said: this is NOT a balance patch! In the 3-5 days between last patch, hollidays, weekends they fixed the most critical crashes, adressed some important bugs and created 3 complet new tower-layouts and reworked the old one. The towers are a DIRECT reaction to our feedback! Just as example. But this alone prove you are wrong. PS: and the 100ms minimum cooldown fix for the unique body is infact a quick&dirty attamp to fix one or THE most broken build we had! You are again wrong. Imagine thinking any devs care about your precious feedback. Why would you care about mass feedback for literally anything? You want feedback from someone you respect, not randoms.
This isn't a feedback phase. It's an economy testing phase and a balance phase. They don't give two shits whether you like the game or not atm because it's not even done. Mapping hasn't been in development for more than half a year; why the fuck would you want randoms' feedback on that system yet, given how much you KNOW is missing? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N_pyZWPxiVg Please, absorb this video and realize that you're just part of a massive, irrelevant blob. |

" Pretty much agree with both of you. I understand that ggg doesn't like to do shifts in character balance over the course of a league but I'm still very surprised they are not addressing the "armour and mace problem" a lot faster, as a matter of fact they seem to be completely ignoring it. I think ggg DOES consider feedback when it comes to quality of life issues or gameplay quirks that are simply not fun and unnecessary, albeit very conservatively and often very slowly. For exemple people where having problems with towers being boring or having to run back across the map for that one rare monster, or the low number of bosses on maps and they did address it. But having those checkpoints barely makes it any better and blank maps still feel boring. Still, they are listening and they are making changes. On the other hand they seem to be very stubborn when it comes to balance, gameplay loops and fundamental mechanics. Basically the VISION. It doesn't matter how much people complain about those thing or for how many year, ggg will just mostly ignore it unless it's such a riot it threatens to collapse the playerbase (ex: Archnem going core in Kalandra) I don't necessarily blame them for it but I still think it's weird for exemple how adamant they are on not buffing skills or playstyles that are so weak no one has ever considered in the past 5 years. " Did they "created" thou? Or they used work already made and scraped by design decisions pre-launch, but had to backpaddling because players didn't like the lazy uniform Lost Tower design? How much "fun and entertaining" game designs were left out because don't fill the "Vision" and will be used as a response to feedbacks? We will never know, right? " One problem with that idea. If you simply log out and uninstall, how will they know what to fix? You'd have to leave feedback. |

" All they have to do is look at the posts and see what topics keep cropping up: (not in order) Ascendency respecs 1 death/1 map XP loss Mace/Xbow issues Warrior issues Defense balance issues (ES/EV/A) Trade issues (AH vs current system vs NONE + economy) Bad/Random/Useless/Bricked loot |
