GGG Doesnt care about your feedback

they added waypoints to maps which was an idea myself and probably others suggested. they do listen but there are a lot of big problems and if they take too long to fix them lots of people will leave
the last 10 years prove otherwise, so..
GGG doesn't have time and human resource to process 99% of feedback, game is too unfinished, too many problems with management and too ancient infrastructure. Game will probably have "beta"-like quality in 1 year, and be finished in 2-3 years.
Streamers on copium who hope it will be better soon are just delusional. But we are all addicted that helps GGG a lot.

It is also very apparent that they didn't understand that request at all, and just slapped few waypoints there to seem like they thought about the feedback for even one minute.

it can be improved for sure, but to say its not without uses is downplaying it by a huge lot. a step in the right direction i would say.

chill bro.

ggg is receiving tons of feedback more than they've ever had.

they're busy cooking.

i ve been in this forums for long. they do listen and i do see feedback being taken into consideration and even implemented.

pay shuns

LOL I'll go ahead and -1 this.

While GGG does listen to some feedback which suits the agenda, most of which is just fixing problems they created, they also have a huge record of NOT delivering results, or taking years to address community concerns (if at all).

The game is early access, but had been in development for 6 years. The community has had plenty of patience and they already created more issues than fixed, likely just to give them a way to appear as though they are listening to feedback.

Half of the issues with POE2 shouldnt even exist this far in much let alone in a sequel, the other half of the issues are just poor design or lack of finishing touches on otherwise decent ideas. Theres literally a thread on front page right now discussing the "What aspects of the game are actually an improvement over poe1?" The general consensus is not in favor.

I have played 12-16 hours every day since launch on POE2, and like OP, I will be leaving now. The game is not in a good condition.

Did the community have patience? Don't forget that before they started EA you didn't pay anything for the game, so to say that the community had patience...
Famous games like D4 itself, which took 7 years to be made, had many problems, some of which are still unresolved.

And saying like the friend above that GGG doesn't listen to feedback is almost pathetic, since if you compare it to many companies, including Blizzard, yes they do listen, and a lot. But it's also worth remembering that if they were to listen to every whine, we'd soon have PoE 1 characters and skills, D4 bosses and Last Epoch NPC trade, in short... PoE will no longer have an identity, and will be just another generic ARPG like the others.

Stop shilling and simping please , its embarrassing.

In last update out of 100 things they ''fixed'' they ignored everything people asked for. They fixed things no one asked for.
+1... kind of

Few points before anything:
* I have no backstory from GGG. It doesn't really matter though. If you are supposed to deliver "now", what you did/didn't 10 years ago is irrelevant.
* That said, I see GGG did changes in previous patch that "align" with some of the suggestions.
* I also see that some other feedback was not mentioned at all. Means not much, but ought to be said too.

My take here about GGG "caring about feedback" is: "let's wait and see".

What is for me undeniable is that their community management is atrocious. So even if they care, the only thing they are showing is the opposite.

"
Well judging by the responce of the latest interview with DarthMicrotransaction they realy dont care about our feedback if it goes against "The Vision". Every single suggestion and complaint was shot down. They dont care and wont listen.

I got this impression too. Though I felt it was more friction between Chris and the other guy more than anything else.

for you to say that unironically i would say its even more embarrassing. guess where we're in "Early Access Feedback" subforum.

early access.

stop pretending this is a complete game. if you're talking about a complete game then yeah you have a point but it aint.

+1 and -1 at the same time.

They probably took some feedback. The last update brought huge QoL improvements, so -1 for that.

On the other hand, they clearly ignored an unforgivable amount of feedback, especially regarding the problems with warrior/mace/HP/witchhunter. They seem completely unaware of the players’ dissatisfaction.

To emphasize, based on the content of Darth’s interview, you can tell it’s a case of “unaware” rather than “knowing but deciding to stick to their own plan.” I’d like to ask those simps to stop sugarcoating their impression of GGG.

What’s laughable about this thread is that the critics are exaggerating too much, while the defenders are overly glorifying things. Neither side is providing a detailed account of the facts, and it’s even escalated to personal attacks.

I believe GGG indeed ignored an unforgivable amount of feedback. On the other hand, we should give them time to catch up.

GGG has spent six years creating a very interesting new world while also creating garbage like the mace. EA has simultaneously revealed both the massive mistakes they’ve made and the fruits of their hard work, which is fascinating.

I’d rather they make all their mistakes during EA than have them develop the game locked up at home, lacking proper testing, and then release the official version all at once.
