It sucks you got scammed, but you gotta pay more attention to those things... they're awful for even thinking that scamming is okay, but it is on you.

GGG should have put a tooltip for "if they close the trade after showing the item its more than likely a scam, check the next item incredibly carefully"
It is frustrating players don't check but its also frustrating for them that trade is a wild west ballache where you have to assume people are scumbags. |

I had a bow up for sale for 30 divs and 1st 4 people tried scamming me before the 5th actually bought it. For the 4 people i probably wasted 10 minutes combined in which i could've completed another map. And if you yourself want to buy something you have to go through all the people who ignore your trade whispers. There's absolutely no reason for there not to be instant buy out. 18 divs in that time is petty impressive. I've fked a few trades all my fault. Best to take it slow with trades and not allow the other guy to pressure you.
Just let this one go mate its early days. Imagine looking back on this in a few months :D |
