Quitting this game after being scammed out of all of my currency

Donno seems turning GOLD to full main currency is only fix for a AH. instant buy out with taxed gold.
GGG does not like the idea of 1 currency. why they have a hard time coming up with a up to date trade idea. keep it simple all I think needs to be done. -Shrug-

we got trade currency for currency almost instant in some cases. that's cool.. but most the time you starting with lowest currency. trade up to next and so on and so on till you get to what you actually wanted to get to.
A lot of hassle. when if gold was only currency. I just buy the one i want and be done. lol

No AH is a huge L for this game, very disheartening that the devs think the current system is acceptable instead. You'd think the currency exchange would be proof enough they can handle it.

On the bright side, this is likely only to happen to you once.

Just play next league, but in the meantime advocate for a real trading system where there are instant buyouts and items are exchanged through the game automatically and not by players.

It's asinine that we have to deal with such an archaic system that promotes scamming and price fixing when it would be easy to save everyone so much time and headache with a simple buyout and auto deliver option.

This is just the trade friction that GGG likes.

Maybe GGG can implement an auction house like Torchlight Infinite where players can buy auction house stash tabs every league. Players win and GGG gets more revenue.

Pain teaches us to do better next time. Due diligence. Someone was smarter and got the best of you. Lesson learned.

Take a break, come back with fresh league. Though, I would think you are still better off just continue what you were doing and playing instead of starting completely over, unless you need the break.

As a new, at the moment, convert to POE I urge GGG to implement a better trading system. The current trading model is putting off many players from even participating with the current sloppy, abused and archaic system, they are likely to give up playing at some point. Most MMOs manage to incorporate multiple currencies and still have a robust buy and deliver auction house too. While I am at it, please let the mouse work alongside controllers, or at least have a device swap "button" in game as oposed to have to log out each time to change devices. Mouse is great for management, controller is great for combat.

Indeed. At the end it's just a game for fun. Not the end of the world like most people here think.

Instead of quitting, publicly shame the scammer and make sure no one trades with them ever again.

Sadly, i don't see a way to "fix" this ingame, the 2nd post in this thread kinda explains it all.
