Feedback and why I'm done. 4th Ascension is what did it.
I use the following relics 2 Additonal Choices + 6% reduced prices X2
Boss takes 19% increased dmg + 9% reduceces merchant prices 22% max honor +reduces merchant cost 10% 29 % honor res + merhcnat has 2 additional choices 26% max honor + 10% reduce costs If you hit Silver tongue boon + Trial parameters for 50% off merchant cost is 0 If you get the non unique relic buffs with silver tongue it also reduces cost to 0 I ran my ranger through with like 2k honor no problem |

i mean i've run plenty of trials, some movement speed on your boots + boon you can't miss the orbs no matter how they spawn.

I've theoried the placement I got (3 corner) with people who run it for carries and they pretty much agreed that the placement would be impossible without 35% movespeed boots, movespeed boon, and blink with supports out the wazoo, a bit much to ask for someone attempting their ascendancy trial Their solution? I actually liked the Trials but i also liked Ultimatum and Sanctum in PoE1.
That said, there are still adjustments needed. I would for example make monsters drop more sacred water based on the distance between you and the monster. Expecially on bosses. The result should be that "real" melee builds get more sacred water and because of that, can buy more boons. On top of that i would add more boons that target melee builds. I see for example no reason why the "50% increased damage" boon targets ranged combat and casters. This could be a "50% increased damage based on proximity, scaling down to 0% at 3m" boon. Not a "50% melee damage" boon because that would just favor sunder, glacial cascade and other attacks with the melee keyword that are not really melee. Maybe track the time the player stays in melee range with an "attrition" aura that just works like the spirit gem but has a pretty small presence effect and resets after leaving it for too long. With enough adjustments and interesting boons in this direction, melee could get really interesting in the trial of the sekhema. We just need interesting buffs. Maybe give us an "assassin" buff that makes us invisible or untargetable after killing a (rare?) enemy in close combat (1m). Stuff like that. Make buffs like that work with selfcurse temporal chains and we might see people enjoy melee more than ranged. |

" Mate, my point was that it ISN'T challenging. This isn't like the maven memory game. You either have the movespeed or you don't. If the solution is you must also roll movespeed at the vendor AND have a specific set of vendor related relics to make this viable and get a good pattern or have absurd dps, (this was my third sphere phase and he was almost shot after this) can you see the problem here? And if you like this then that's fine, but I guarantee you you're in the minority. You can enjoy your dead game all to yourself in a few months time. Trials are worst part of the game, I stuck on 3rd one and. I clean 14 lvl maps but when i have to do ascendecy I am death. I cant finish sakhema on 68 lvl when I have over 80lvl WTF. Last boss is so overpowered. Worst is this that i lose my time. I waste 15 hours of my life and I can't fishied 3rd level of ascendacy. No fun at all. PLS do ascendecy form POE1.
