Why is there a Radio Silence from the Devs??
The interview was brought up on the Reddit page by ghazzy asking for community submitted questions. I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere else. In terms of why they haven't said much yet I think it's the scale of issues. They're staring at a mountain of work wondering where to start. In a game like this the order in which you fix things is very important, otherwise you end up breaking a lot of stuff.

"Sure, maybe we all need to, but that ultimately comes down to individual choice. Some of us will continue playing because it’s a form of entertainment which we choose to consume. What could be done in just a few days is providing an update on their roadmap or planned changes. There should be a dedicated team handling communication with their clients. I believe a lot of the current frustration stems from the feeling that the player base is being unheard, and this is creating resentment. |

" It is, they said they were looking into bug fixes as a priority And yet it wasn't published here. Not everyone is on twitter or cares to go there. Just have a single thread, call it "social media posts" or something, where they can dump all their external comms, I shouldn't have to go fishing for official information |

" People need to stop making excuses for corporations. Nobody here is expecting much, but some basic communication & acknowledgement is the absolute least one can expect in an early access game that pretends to be built around player feedback. Any Blizzard dev is 10 times more communicative than these people working for the Chinese government. It's pathetic. |

I think the reason is that they didn't release that majority of PoE 1 community don't actually need meaningful and challenging gameplay, they were totally fine without it and it only make the game worse for them, tedious and annoying. They thought, PoE 1 veterans will be happy about new changes but many of them hate the new direction. And they are too afraid to admit it or say it at loud, while without addressing this, it will be hard to comment everything.

"Without being overly harsh, I’d like to agree that an early access game should be built around constant back-and-forth communication between the dev team and the player base. Since the player base spends a significant amount of money on an unfinished product, they are entitled to expect at least some communication. |

"Sorry, I didn’t quite understand what you meant, but there ARE quite a lot of issues with the game that don’t contribute to it being challenging or hard. Many forum posts are already discussing these issues. The topic of this post is to address the lack of communication from the devs to their clearly disgruntled player base. Even if they don’t intend to change certain things, they should communicate that. |

I looked through that reddit post a bit.
What's scaring me is how no one is bringing up the bad optimization of the game and how thousands of players are dealing with pc lockups and crashes. I get it, it takes time to fix the problem. It doesn't take much however to just give us a "yo, we know this sucks but we hear you and we are working on it" I think that's all most of us want, just a clear line of communication. |

"exactly this. |
