Confirmed Cheating
Just FYI Everyone who posts here with a counter argument I think are cheaters. So no matter what nonsense you come up with to explain why you are the one picking up my loot I'm not taking back my statement.
Things need to change. And I'm sick of my loot disappearing as soon as it hits the ground. I already confirmed it. Now if you WANT to try and provide a different perspective. Would you suggest a reason why NOT to improve the Anti Cheat systems in the game? Addition: I also consider custom loot filters to be cheating, since you can configure it to display an item name to be much bigger and much easier to click on. E.G. A giant neon flashing item name for a Divine Orb that you cant NOT click on. Which is also how I figured some of these distribution cheaters work. This is not new. All sorts of Helper apps have existed in games like this for a very long time. Not sure why game companies continue to let them abuse their IP. Should be as simple as any other copyright infringement take down. These tools are clearly contributing to infringement. How so you say? The ToS and EULA are your only license to use the software, and Anything outside of that is infringement. There is an entire industry around checking for infringement and filing take downs. It is almost like they don't do anything because they want to keep them in the economy or in the case of box price titles they want to keep the revenue stream.

" Wait... you consider a BUILT IN FEATURE to be cheating? I don't say this often, but seriously... go touch grass. |
|
So far as I'm aware cheats aren't possible in any poe game since everything is server side.
Sounds made up or lack of understanding on game mechanics to me. Try setting to perma allocation and rec it happening? |
|
Its not built in though. Its a filter made by an outside source that gives a player a clear advantage over a player without it. And in POE1 I have seen loot filters that use an exploit in that system to do exactly what I described in that little addition (above). That is definitely cheating and GGG should remove that feature from the game.
Once I had a kid I raced against in "Need for Speed Underground 2" try and convince me that using a trainer that "auto reset his car at 100% throttle any time he hit a wall" wasn't cheating. Last edited by KingDaMuncha#6025 on Dec 31, 2024, 2:11:54 PM

" Yes, it is built in. That outside source is called notepad. Honestly, you really need to just stop posting here and learn the very basics of this game. |
|
" Again. Nothing can override a server side command and loot filters have no control of that. Sounds manufactured to me. Again get a recording of someone grabbing something perma allocated to you so ggg can deal with it. They can't do anything with hearsay |

" i'm not sure if notepad comes with Temple OS, OP will let us know tho |

I have seen this as well happen to me twice in a map where someone warped to the loot and instantly picked up 4 items that were white to me, and left the grey items on the ground.
So yes this is occurring I believe the Original Poster I have stopped group unless its a friend now due to this issue, |

Seems you (the new users to join this discussion) didnt read my post either. If you try to counter my request for better cheat software I will think your a cheater.
And as stated in threads last week, if you dont have a forum badge under your name you didnt purchase any supporter pack. Your a tourist. Thankyou Avindor. Finally someone who has the same experience as me. Though white items arnt worth much and I dont know why anyone would bother nabbing those.
