[SANCTUM SPOILER] Yeah, I Think I'm Done
" This is a public forum and your profile is public. And yes, when people make such claims, I tend to have a quick peek where they are coming from. You know, like a journalist would prior to an interview. It's like that one person complaining about performance, while owning a 4090 and pairing it with a 2013 quad-core CPU and playing in 1080p 60Hz. If that sounds a little too specific, ask yourself why that is. Besides, this " is talking down on someone. Don't be surprised when the response isn't exactly friendly. Apparently, it's not clear enough that spending 18 minutes on a fight only to get shafted by RNG - for a core character progression mechanic - is bound to hit players' frustration limits. I'm not doing this again. I've tried to do it like 20 times now. It's not worth my time anymore. I'm done. It's also not my fault when the choice is between "Monsters remove 5% of your Life, Mana and Energy Shield on hit", "You can see 1 fewer room ahead" and "Monsters have 50% more Life". I had the 5% on hit mechanic on 3 floors in a row, dude. But yeah, "skill issue". Gaming PC: Win 11, 7600X3D, RTX 4080, 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30, 7000 MB/s SSD, 850W, 3840x2160p 120Hz

" Apology accepted. " I think you really need to stop looking at it from a Sanctum farmer POV. It's irrelevant. It really is. That's like me going on about how easy Callagadra is (a Grim Dawn Uber Boss) with the right build, and then completely ignoring the complaints of all the people saying that they can't stack enough resists to overcome her debuffs. So, they essentially have to play 1 or 2 specific builds to farm that boss. Except this isn't an optional super boss. It's part of core character progression. Bad RNG in Ultimatum can fuck you over as well. Do you understand what I'm saying? Gaming PC: Win 11, 7600X3D, RTX 4080, 32GB DDR5-6000 CL30, 7000 MB/s SSD, 850W, 3840x2160p 120Hz

you don't need a spcific build, just a bit of damage(50k real dps maybe?) and good mods. With enough knowledge you will likely come to him with more dmg buff/movement buff and less life buff making the fight winable for almost everyone. I got him down with a bloodmage at 80 with hexblast and life/armour as defense, no minions to get my last ascendancy. Its almost too easy now that you will always get the vendor between floors.Just get a relic with more vendor options and stack sacred water -> win.

" Welcome to PoE2, a game that doesn't get fully trivialized and face rolled by layers and more layers of years worth player power. That being said you do just have to better for now to beat the content, but I'm sure just like Sirus this content is going to reach the point of being outdated and not on par with player power. Just gotta be patient, or get better :) Flames and madness. I'm so glad I didn't miss the fun.

Boons and afflictions are the worst part of sanctum... well except for the fact that nothing in Sanctum is actually fun or enjoyable to play or fight.

" This is a problem. Players should not need to go watch in-depth guides to clear content that is required for progression. |

Game is to uninteresting to be this slow and unrewarding. I'm literally in an area right now that is dropping 0 loot. Even Minecraft is a better ARPG than this is at this point.
Edit- A few items started dropping. It feels like they nerfed drops back to launch levels. Last edited by ExsiliumUltra#5541 on Dec 28, 2024, 11:50:00 AM

" I actually did watch Kripp's video for a brief overview of what I should expect - I actually paused the game in the boss room - because, under no circumstances, was I going to do this bullshit again.
