Or make it 3 modes.

If they make 3 modes they will very quickly find out that nobody will play the in between. Hardcore players will stick to hardcore and basically everyone will leave standard for the "easier" mode.
please remove or change XP loss. Im lvl 91 and I loose about 30 minutes of my LIFETIME dying a single time.

I have had a realisation that this is even more flawed than I thought.

Not only does it make you go backwards in progression, it makes you go backwards in difficulty.

For those who defend the XP loss on death, I have a question. This one comes from the fact that many of them like to make the comparison to other games like D2, saying that this is how it's always been so it should not change.

Other games had additional penalties for death. Along with XP loss, you could lose gold and even durability on your gear. POE 2 does not have these.

Here's the question: Should they implement it? Do you think that the lack of gold or durability loss is making the game too easy for noobs and encouraging folks to bash their heads against the wall constantly and not try to play smarter?

Different question: If other players get an easier time grinding to 100 because there's no XP loss, how does that affect YOUR experience with the game? How does another player's more casual playstyle negatively affect yours? Will your personal experience with the game be ruined because there's no XP loss on death?

Game too hard - Make it easier, it doesn't affect anyone else. This is your take? xD

You didn't answer either of the questions and just made a mocking comment. This type of response is common for you folks.
Your hypothetical questions are irrelevant. It's the game developers vision and I agree with it. If you don't, play another game that is easier for you.

You've never had a differing opinion from a dev's vision? You never thought that the devs made a mistake, made one class/build stupidly OP or busted, or did something that felt needed improvement and that you wanted to provide feedback on? Do you always just accept every aspect of a game as part of a dev's design and think it should never change?

Because I thought that's what early access was for. Providing feedback and being constructive. Instead, people like you only ever say "your questions are irrelevant, take it or leave it, noob, play something else, git gud, etc".

You always say the same things, without ever providing constructive criticisms or responses.
I completely agree, XP loss and punishing mechanics need to go. They frustrate players who enjoy the game but don’t have endless hours to grind, making the experience feel unrewarding and pointless. This often drives away casual yet dedicated players, as I’ve seen happen with PoE1. Several friends of mine either rage-quit, hit walls they couldn’t overcome, or simply got too frustrated to continue.

As I mentioned earlier in this post below, a straightforward solution would be to offer separate leagues: one that’s more relaxed and rewarding, with no XP loss, and another that retains the current punishing mechanics for those who want the extra challenge. This approach caters to all playstyles and keeps the community thriving.
