Warbringer Shockwave Totems: 300k+ dps mapping / 450k+bossing. (Videos) Now with ASTRAL PROJECTION!
" Nothing significant. I link Arcane tempo, but that is a tiny marginal benefit at best. -O |

" The way to increase the range of blasphemy is through the curse skill nodes that give +100% increased curse aoe near witch start. Magnified effect alone wont do much but with the increased it multiplies to be decent coverage. Hard to reach for these builds though. |

" Playing around some without inspiration for testing purposes. I think with a slightly more careful playstyle (flask immediately after each totem) and a top-end flask (Mine is 98% increased life regained/15% taken from mana with 28% reduced charges used) that grants over 2k life per use, I think I might be able to use Astral Projection in place of inspiration. That way I keep life bounty to swap out for conc effect or magnified effect, as needed. This will want some thorough testing before I feel like I can recommend it, but I am excited about the prospect. Astral Proj was the very first gem link I tried and I was disappointed when it wouldn't work. Now we get to see what the build was intended to be originally. -O |

" Why not run the belt you suggested earlier and replace loife bounty with projector. I am using this setup currently, replaced life bounty with magnified effect and my flask charges are fine. The 30%+ flask gained is more than enough imo. Update on blasphemy +enfeeble*** This setup fits my playstyle. I am able to play more aggressively dodge rolling towards packs without worrying about getting destroyed. It’s a nice layer of protection if invested some stats on int. Mine’s at 83int Last edited by basti#7223 on Jan 16, 2025, 8:17:25 AM

" I may end up doing just that, but I want to see if I can keep the QOL of life bounty for mapping and swap it for conc/magnified effect when needed while still using Astral. Might not be feasible, we'll see. The charges gained is good enough -most- of the time. If a map doesn't have enough density, flask goes down and need to port out. Might end up deciding that that is better than mapping without inspiration. Have to see how it feels. As to the blasphemy experiment, glad it is working--keep us posted! -O |

ASTRAL PROJECTION!!!!!!
Astral Projection is absolutely ridiculous. THIS is what I originally intended for the build. Takes it straight from A to S tier imo. The amount of offscreening, the useful uptime in a bossfight, absolutely tremendous. Because each totem can now be so much more efficient in taking down enemies, replacing Life Bounty with Astral Projection is the correct answer. Highly recommend when doing this that you have a belt with increased flask charges gained for best QOL. Tried out dropping inspiration and didn't like the gameplay nearly as much. Likely correct to accept a little less notional dps when bossing and leave out conc effect--this will want more testing. Anyway, very excited, heartily recommend Astral Proj! -O [edit] Additional Note 1: May seem obvious, but if you have made this swap and find yourself running low on charges while mapping, briefly trade out Overabundance for Life bounty until your flask refills then swap again. Additional Note 2: The ideal setup for bossing is going to depend on the particular boss involved. Here are my recommendations: For immobile bosses, swap in conc effect for Astral Proj. For the mobile bosses that have enough hp to wear down your flasks (like Zarokh) sub in conc effect for overabundance. For mobile lower hp bosses, don't bother swapping in conc effect. Going to update the FAQ to discuss Astral Proj. -O Last edited by Orion72#3803 on Jan 16, 2025, 7:18:43 PM

" I don't really get why Astral Projection is a good support ? I tried it and can't see any difference ? My tree is oriented towards totem placement range, is it why I can't see any difference ? + Totems are kinda broke in the latest patch, they doesn't auto-slam, there needs to be an enemy in range but even when it's the case sometimes it just doesn't slams.. ++ thx for everyone in the thread you all greatly helped me |
