Your totem is now automatically attacking all enemies within its range. The shockwaves no longer happen around the totem, they happen in a targeted way around enemies wherever they are on the screen. No more needing to place and replace and replace totems as enemies move. The totems will track the moving enemy with shockwaves like a guided missile. You are thinking it's broken because the totems are sometimes slamming something else somewhere else instead of the enemy that is on top of them.

I don't really get why Astral Projection is a good support ? I tried it and can't see any difference ? My tree is oriented towards totem placement range, is it why I can't see any difference ?

+ Totems are kinda broke in the latest patch, they doesn't auto-slam, there needs to be an enemy in range but even when it's the case sometimes it just doesn't slams..

This is a fabulous support for the build that was released in patch 1.1, well after the initial guide was prepared. I have the following recommendations:

1. While leveling: I have not tested this directly because of the timing of release. That said, my instinct would be to add it either second (after martial tempo) or third (after Brutality). This may be a matter of taste.

2. General Mapping: Replace Life Bounty with Astral Projection for general mapping. If you get down to your last 1-2 flask charges, swap overabundance in for astral until your flask refills (this happens very quickly) and then swap back.

3. Bossing: Three categories of bosses want different setups:

A. Low Mobility: Swap in Conc effect for Astral Proj
B. High Mobility, low hp: No Swap
C. High Mobility, high hp: Swap Conc effect for Overabundance The doubled uptime on your totems will reduce the pressure on your flasks during this kind of fight.

It is at its best when you are trying to kill things more than a screen away or around corners. (Or against highly mobile bosses like Arbiter of Ash) It suffers from the drawback that it will often not target the closest group of mobs, making it less good defensively for fighting things next to you. Whether to have it equipped all the time is very much a matter of taste and playstyle.


-If- you decide to make use of Astral Projection, I have the following recommendations:

1. While leveling: My instinct would be to add it either second (after martial tempo) or third (after Brutality).

If you are using attrition instead of Time of need and lingering illusion, supports would just move over--Vitality & herbalism.

i am using attrition, time of need,blasphemy+enfeeble and lingering illusion. Currently using the same supports suggested by this guide.

Then you have some very decent +spirit gear :> I don't think there are any meta supports that are particularly useful besides Vitality and herbalism. Do you find attrition helpful? I would think most fights are over too quickly for it to have much impact.

It is only really useful on pinnacle bosses. Was able to achieve this by having that +50 spirit amulet and the low str requirement weapons both with azcapa.
lv95, 3100hp 90 90 90 75
Without doing anything, dps is at
65k aoe
91k with conq

I tried blink but didn’t really like it. I prefer dodge rolling.
Outside of these spirit skills, didn’t see anything else that’s useful.
Maybe cast on minion death but tbh I haven’t tried it and don’t know how it will work with totems.
