Probably been asked, but all I saw was the sockets.
Outside of stats, is there any roll whatsoever on weapon that has benefit on to totems? Stun buildup? Flat phys? Anything at all? |

Update on my Dex stacking gemling version of shockwave totem.
I am currently lvl 81 and comfortably clearing tier 12 juiced maps progressing through atlas. Current stats: 50 str 438 dex 129 int Shockwave totem is lvl 18 + 3 amulet + 2 gloves +1 phys mastery support (24) with 20+12% quality from ascendancy. base attk time of the gem is 2.12 seconds. (or ~0.47 attacks per second) using pillar of the caged god staff, Falcon dive and Falcon technique as well as all the attkspeed nodes I can reasonably reach and 4 + attkspeed + increased accuracy jewels. 12783 accuracy Current attk time (with martial tempo and 3 active totems) = 0.36 seconds (or 2.78 attacks per second.) I only have 5 link right now and for mapping I am using magnified area support for QoL, for bossing, I swap out for heavy swing. anti bossing shockwave totem tooltip dps with full totem buffs = 18,962 (no rage) Not spectacular dps yet, I could likely get more by just using + melee levels maces but I am going to keep pushing it since it clears and bosses quite safely compared to many of my builds. Defenses: Since I am Dex/Int and gemling, I am running Font of Power scepter (which is why I have 50/129 str/int) and Alkem Eira shield on my weapon swap. I made a swap tree for totems (because they snapshot) and another for extra evasion rating, life regen, rage generation and block chance. I run Blasphemy with Enfeeble and Blink with ingenuity on the shield scepter set using the scepter spirit and use resonating shield linked with a bunch of QoL supports (mobility, unbreakable, Bludgeon, Rage) for my left click swap. My totems are on right click so I can play with only WASD, space and mouse. Spirit Buffs: Grim Feast (vitality, clarity, precision) (70 spirit) Ghost Dance (fast forward) (30 spirit) Wind Walker (blind) (30 spirit) Berserk (30 spirit) You can get the spirit on a high rolled chest and ignore it on amulet or get even more on amulet and add time of need/herbalism. Evasion Helmet and Body and Hybrid Evasion/ES boots and Gloves. Gameplay feel: Fast responsive, layers of mobility and defense. I sustain Totem costs with the 42% of mana costs converted to Hp Costs by staying in my shield weapon set and immediately swapping back to it after casting totem. The life regen and the mana recoup shield give me very good sustain in mapping. Defensively I have Evasion capped (considering trying acrobatics) and around 50% chance to block. With Ghost dance, any hit I do take immediately refills my ES and any grim feast procs overcharge it. I can blink on low cd while in shield mode and using resonating shield with all the attkspeed allows my to quickly and fairly safely max out my rage for a nice 50% more multiplier (from berserk with gemling-quality) My total life is low so I do need to rely on blocking/blinking/evading and keeping overcharged ES to survive big slams but against those types of enemies I just totem from a distance and stay out of harms way. Against the burst ranged enemies, ghost dance easily defects the first volleys so I have lots of time to react and put a totem on them. I have a +2 charm slots belt and my jewels all have charm boosts so they are all up quite a bit. I use chaos res, anti-freeze and anti-stun. I haven't been frozen in a very long time and I almost never get stunlocked to death. Overall, it is a fun, effective build with one big drawback. The particle effects. While my BiS for dps once I 6 link will be jagged ground support, the attkspeed multiplying the particles spawned makes it unplayable. To play this version you MUST enable dynamic culling and turn off screen shake. Without dynamic culling you will fry your graphics card, especially on some maps where the surfaces are complex since each particle is a physics object. My high powered PC was overheating like mad when I didn't have culling enabled, especially with the jagged ground explosions effect doubling the number of particles spawned for each totem attack. " Not that I have found, Local weapon mods won't affect it. Just get Str and maybe reduced requirements if you are going giants blood. Nothing else matters unless you are trying to proc HoI or Armour break since those are based on your weapon damage. It is why I am testing pillar of the caged god. The attkspeed and Aoe scaling on it are global while the weapon dmg scaling is local. I think this is the only weapon that can give shockwave totem AoE and Attkspeed (but no gem levels). " In that case I think you are well within range of getting similar late endgame dps or better to this build. Gonna be expensive, since you will need both the level 21 corrupted gem and the +3 prism of belief to get close and then more stat stacking to push it over, but definitely viable. How are the defenses feeling? |

" The defenses are decent with evasion/block/Es but my total HP even with the ES is a bit low since I prioritized evasion over ES. I might try to swap for more hybrid gear for my helmet and body but It will have to wait until I make some more currency. Wind Walker/Ghost Dance/Grim feast enfeeble aura + blocking keeps me alive in most juiced maps, I mostly die to ground DoTs at this point. Edit: HAH I am not sure how you are supposed to search for specific prism of belief jewels but the only +3 shockwave totem one I found was priced at 1 mirror. Just a bit out of my price range lmao.
