Massive FPS Drops in POE2

Similar issues for me as well @ 1440P Ultra-Wide w/ 240hz refresh.

Specs: 4080 Super
AMD 9 7900x
32G RAM @ 6000

As many have said, no issues running the most demanding titles at max frame rate but consistently have spikes/drops or 20/30 FPS when playing POE2.

I would imagine this is more of an optimization issue on GGG's end and not a hardware issue. However, it is still worth mentioning as it becomes borderline unplayable at times, especially in a party with many ground effects.

I'm certain this will improve over time, but it is painful at the moment.

I've got a 4090 and I've had to turn down all the graphics settings a lot to avoid the slowdowns where you then run real fast afterwards. Game runs flawlessly with everything turned down like this, but it's disappointing having to do so.

Campaign performance = 10/10.
Maps performance 2/10.

Also playing witchhunter grenadier (which is the worst class for performance).
In some maps (normally closed layouts) the fps are way more stable, but in some maps (especially in forest maps) with good mob density is horrible.

I don't know why known streamers don't talk about that, it's the most important thing over the table right now. They don't have any issues at all with performance? idk...

Thumbs up this still did not get fixed along with hundreds of other bugs. Performance really tanks in multiple encounters.

For example I tried casting frozen orb on sorc, and my fps tanked from 90 to 22 right there in the hideout, imagine what would be in maps

low fps. low gpu usage.

Breach or ritual = 15-20 fps and i die due to that, losing the rewards and of course the map

fun times, 60fps with minor drops (to around 50) elsewhere

please optimize things and improve the stability of the game, I ended up dropping all settings to minimum and this still occurs. Not running on a potato pc.

they made PoE2 slow pace and still has performance issues... wondering what would have happened if it was fast paced like PoE... the game would die in couple of seconds because of how bad it's optimised... honestly was expecting better from GGG but this is what happens when they focus on cosmetics and QoL stash tabs

I went from 200+ FPS yesterday to 30-40 FPS today. Does anyone know what happened or how to fix this?

I am experiencing terrible fps drops as well.

im using a 8700k along with a EVGA 3080 FTW3. 16 GB of RAM.

I have equipment with the following parameters:
Ryzen 5 2600X
RTX 3050 wiyh 8GB VRAM
32GB ram.
No matter if I give maximum or minimum settings, the game is still unplayable (min 20. max 40 frames). Any ideas? I've tried probably everything they state on the internet
