Poison Gas Arrow Pathfinder
Extremely useful especially in the late game, if you end up getting stunned or frozen, you're relying on that life flask recovery to keep you alive. Very common during juiced breaches

I ve done this build before with 0 flask nodes. I prefer chill/slow immune and move speed side more.
Some tips here -If you spec "as extra chaos dmg" nodes u can use "eye of winter" with withered and insta cap withered.(anoint or megalomaniac works.) -Poison tick rate not effected by attack speed so get slow hard hitin bows. +physical dmgs on ring quivers also big help -Armor break usefull but hidden dps. Most of the mobs have like 20k armour atleast. Thats flat %30-50 dmg reduction against physical. -Gas arrow doesnt hit but calculated as if its hits physical. So increased chaos dmg not helps since they modify your "hit". But you can use despair/withered. But that also needs some intelligence. -Pure evasion gears cool but that rare hits still 1shots you.I prefered eva/es gears. Even 500es helps alot. -Contagion spreads poison and especially usefull on high breaches. But may crash ur pc if its weak. But if uve good pc clears 2-3 screen rly fast. Tryin other clases but gas arrow does %450 around dps. Other 30+arrow skills does %170s dmg. If u can get %50+crits and %500 crit dmg They goes %800+ which makes ur poison dps x2 and also adds normal dps. But that i ll try another time:D |

Great build! Tooltip says crit damage scales the poison damage from gas arrow. The arrow doesn't actually hit but poisons as if hitting. So it would make sense that crit affects it.
But does it? |

" I actually tested it after u said and can confirm. Gas arrow clouds scale with crit+crit dmg. But without rly rly endgame gear and 95+ levels its pretty hard to spec both poison and crit/crit dmg all together. With crit it can do x5 dmg. My tooltip was around 25k and with 10x poison it was like 250k/per sec. Slower then other clases for boss clear but atleast relatively clear screen. So it will go 1m+. But its better to see patch notes and also "path of buildin" comin. Better wait and see if pconc changes or anything |

Is +to projectile skills in bows totally dead in Poe2? Or is it just because of manaproblems its not prioritized?

It’s not totally dead but somewhere in here someone noted it’s about +5% dmg increase per +1 proj level. In game tool tip would seem to roughly bear that out. You can test with a white quiver. Then add a blue quiver with +1 level only.
As you noted though there’s a mana cost multiplier for each level added to the skill so as you increase the skill level mana on hit/kill and regen becomes much more of a priority for QoL and clear |

Decided to remove the top left jewel and points and speced into killer instinct and CI. Ghostwrithe still benefits even with CI and CI gets the benefits from low life and full life atm, so it double dips into Killer instinct, big dps improvement.

" Why? The abilities poison scale off total attack damage, not just physical, so the most important stat should be 'raw damage' (before attack speed is taken into account) regardless of it's type. And something like Lightning/Cold/Fire infusion would likely give more overall damage increase even on a pure Phys bow, over Heft. Since the build is relying on Gas Arrow to apply poison, 'poison on hit' et al. which would only scale with Phys/Chaos, is irrelevant since your poison stacks are already used up. You can scale your damage higher by getting good roll elements on your bow and taking +Elemental damage nodes/Jewels, which would then scale multiplicatively with your +Magnitude And have you tested without Deadly Poison and added other increased damage supports (Primal Armament, with enough Ele damage)? Because 75% Magnitude is good and all, but reducing the initial hit by 25% means you're actually losing a lot of base damage for the rest of your magnitude to scale off. "1) Deadly Poison is a ~1.31x damage multiplier with the hit damage penalty factored in. 2) Ele damage does not contribute to poison magnitude even if the poison is guaranteed, that goes for Gas Arrow aswell. The only way to change that is e.g. through Plaguefinger. "Looks like they just fixed the low life interaction lol. How are you dealing with freezes on ci though, just with a charm?
