Poison Gas Arrow Pathfinder

I would like to ask where is the third +1 to poison? you mention to take all 3 but i can only see Stacking Toxin and Building Toxin

hey quick question, instead of taking the proj dmg nodes on the bottom, why didnt you take the chaos dmg nodes and the +1 chaos skills node near the poison wheel? wouldn't that be better dmg since scaling psn dmg with skill gem is higher dps?

If you do chaos damage in the initial hit then yes, it does affect the poison damage because it is calculated from the initial hit. It does not affect the poison damage after that. So if you have pure physical bow, +chaos damage does nothing to the poison magnitude.

That was a typo, there are only two +1 poisons on the skill tree.

I dont understand about this.

Poison damage is calculated like this:

1) The hit damage of whatever skill is applying the poison is used as a basis for the dot, without enemy defense factored in. If the hit does physical damage you'll want %inc phys damage modifiers, if it does chaos damage then %inc chaos. We deal phys damage so increasing chaos damage does nothing.

2) A poison dot is applied for 20% of that damage multiplied by poison magnitude, as chaos damage.

3) Enemy defenses are applied to the chaos dot from the poison. Because it's chaos damage it's reduced by chaos resistance. Enemies that are immune to chaos damage would not take any damage, but enemies that are immune to physical damage would get damaged.

Vine still doesn't slow enemies. It is still broken.
Why do you take talents to increase poison duration? Don't you want less duration because poison's dot stays the same regardless of duration?

Long shot on gas arrow after testing is a marginal if any dps increase, curious what your experiences were over other possibilities.
