Do you know if the damage of the totems snapshots from when they are created or if they update the dps when you swap weapons?


The damage snapshots. I tested this by laying a shockwave totem wearing a shield only, then swapping to my dual hand setup and watching the monsters coming towards me continue to lose a constant amount of life. I then put on the dual wield setup and swapped back and it works the same. Snapshotting it is.

Not much directly, but I've gotten the attributes cluster since a lot of my gear has attributes on it. Have enough for 82 dex/int requirement gear and gems right now.


Exactly ! that's why I asked. What's the reason behind ? These modifiers are only on dex items ? I'm sorry in advance for my stupid question (I'm kind of a noob) ^^ But what are attribute clusters ? couldn't find on google

Btw I think you should be able to import your character on maxroll which should show current gear,skills etc..

Cant import but Can add stuff pretty easy

For me I needed some Dex because the gear I had access to was Armour and Evasion, which I used Iron Reflexes to convert to armour. I just like this because it opens open up the amount of gear you can use early in league. The attribute cluster is right next to Iron Reflexes so it made sense to pick those nodes up to meet my item requirements and have some flexibility.

The main thing with this type of mechanic is that totems aren't out for very long so it would take a decent investment for them to get the rage. I want to experiment some with gain rage when hit by attacks and some other ideas to find a nice way to sustain rage in maps. So far with the low attack speed of all the warrior skills I haven't found a great way to maintain rage while clearing.


Cool would love to see something more scientific than what I did. I just checked tooltip with rage support on totem, then just stacking rage on myself using resonating shield, then stacking on both myself and the totem with two points in the skill tree.

I also found font of rage to be a decent option instead of brutality if mana costs are crazy during the campaign. But really the benefit to adding rage is 30% more damage without needing a link.

To help my personal stacks I found resonating shield and the rage support work well. I use it instead of raise shield and its kind of "free" damage.
Sounds like theres a good bit of mechanics that do not work with totems that should. Astral Projector, Anvil's Weight accendency node, Gravebind gloves. Does the Armour Explosion support gem work with totems?
Astral Projection should 100% work with shockwave totems yet doesnt im pretty sure that is a bug

Unfortunately Hrimnors_Hymn interaction with Shockwave totem is most definitely a bug, which is a shame, because it makes shockwave totem feel amazing. All sources of aftershocks seem to be for slam "You use yourself".

Shhhhhhhhhhh

To be honest though it's only a crutch through early game, it's really not endgame viable mine sits in my inventory now that I'm over level 80. If you're dual wielding the dual +6/+7's are just too good to pass up late game. Otherwise you can't use aftershocks with a shield cause you need the +6 for your other hand.
